I unfortunately backed into a car parked on double yellow lines in my village. Can anyone tell me - am I liable for the damage to his car as it is illegal to park on double yellow lines at any time?
Thanks for your help. N

I was driving a 1998 Chevy Cavalier and got hit head on rolled 270 degrees after that. Both airbags deployed. I hat numerous abrasions and a sprained left knee. I already was given the value on my car, but I was wondering how much I could expect to receive in the pain and suffering settlement?

There was a minor accident with no police report, got a verbal agreement. I am willing to pay for the repair of the other car, but this person is giving my a hard time, she wants to take the car only to the dealer, which is very expensive, I have shown to her other 2 places, but she did not like them, what should I do?

I have been told that if I was parked in a private car park, or on private property, insurance companies will not pay out, as they only cover you on main roads, and government property. Is this true?

I got a letter today, saying that my car insurance policy will be terminated near the end of October, less than a month from now. This is because of a minor accident last December and a recent speeding ticket that I just finished traffic school for. What are my options? Are my rates going to be sky high with another company because of this?

A car funs a stop sign and hits me. The man doesn't even stop, but when the police man comes he tells me that he will not give the man a ticked because he is an older gentleman with nothing on his record. The man ran the stop sign... So now am I going to be stuck paying my deductible because he didn't receive a ticket. He is obviously at fault.

I am in need of a new car, but I would like the car to be in my name since I'm the one paying for it. Right now the car I'm driving is under my mom's name and insurance.

Is it possible to have a car in my name and still have it be on HER insurance (and I cant just pay her) since it's obviously much cheaper (like a 300 dollar/month diference)

I'm shopping around for insurance quotes because I thought my car insurance was too high. Progressive gave me a very low quote, which I was happy about. It was what I thought I should be paying compared to friends I've talked with. All the other quotes from the other insurance companies were in the same price range and very high. I began to worry that Progressive had some incorrect info, so I called them back, we went over all the info again, and everything is right. They even emailed my quote to me and it's all correct. Should I be worried that the quote is so low or is Progressive just being competetive?

I was in an auto accident on August 18th. Every day they are finding little things that need to be fixed and now all of the sudden they are telling me they are findind 2 maintainence codes. Since there were no codes for the check engine light before i was hit does her insurance have to pay for those? One of the codes was for an oxygen sensor which i had replace last January and was perfectly fine before the accident. the other is a fuel relay.
The body shop says i have a slim chance that her insurance will approve the repairs and that i will have to pay out of pocket? i don't feel i should have to pay for it but i am looking to find out if i am financially responsible.
