My g/f has a 99 Chevy Blazer. And this morning she called and said it started up, ran for about 3 seconds then died. When she went to start it again nothing happened. No radio, lights or anything. When I got home, I simply reached in and hit the brights. They came on for a second or two, then shut off. I got my keys and tried to turn it over. The lights and radio came on for...guess..just a second. She also said she heard a click. The alternator and battery are brand new. Less than 3 months old. Please any suggestions would be great!

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima which has over 150,000 miles on it. I noticed a lot of knocking and pinging when I hit the accelerator. This happens after the car has been on the road for maybe 15 minutes. When the car is in stop, it runs fine, only when I put my foot on the gas is when I hear those noises. Per the manual, I only put 87 octane in, should I maybe be putting a higher octane in or is there something else I can do besides taking it to a dealer. Thanks

just got a red chevy cobalt ls loaded red car with a sweet rear spoiler with over 45 thousand miles.

just wanted to know how long should this car last for me i am a good driver and will take good care of it.

also how is the fuel economy and is it a safe car to drive in during the winter snow and rain or is a safe car period.

also is this car with a four cylinder engine good for driving on the highway for long periods of time.

i got a 01 blazer extreme and i went to change the spark plugs and i cant get to the plug on the left bank middle on the 4.3l v6 the steering column goes rights through where the plug is and cant get it with a wrench or a socket
i was looking at the steering u-joint so i could just undo that and move the column but theres a notice sticker on it that says dont turn the column well disconnected or the air bag system could be damaged. so i dont know what to do now stuck with a bad plug with this column in the way any one that has done spark plugs or can get the info for it ty you can im me on aim @ gotspeed1212 to talk back and forth if you have any more questions

I am planning to buy a 2004-2005 Nissan 350z base/enthusiast within a couple of months. However, I hear a lot of complaints regarding tire wear. Is this a common issue for all 2004-05 Nissan 350z? I am really into this car and hope to hear from Z owners as well as others. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am wondering if $8,750 a good price for a 2004 Hundai Elantra. I would be buying it from a dealership. It has 34,000 miles, VERY minor scrapes (2 or 3), power everything (windows, seats, steering, etc....), airbags, 3 year full warrenty. How does that sound? thanks so much! -Nick

I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler with Goodyear Wrangler tires(size 30x9.5 R15LT). As it turns out I got a flat that is unrepairable, and these tires are discontinued. The other 3 tires are in decent shape and I have been told that I cannot put a different tire on even if it is the same size. From what I gather it's because of the 4 wheel drive. If this tire will be on the front of the jeep and I don't put it into 4 wheel drive will I have a problem? Also if I end up getting one new tire it will be a different size anyway because the others have been used for awhile. I've gotten several different answers on this issue any experience would help. Thanks

i have a problem, the dash lights to read speed oil pressure, battery, engine temp, dont come on, but all of the warnings and stuff do upon starting as they should and flash off ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,heres the catch , all of the lights come on only if i turn my high beams on and still they only stay on for a half second, oh yeah and when my high beams get turnd on my time on my radio goes off PLEASE HELP

how much max would it cost to rebuild or replace the a/c in a 1984 dodge ram van.

took it to the worker and they charged it up, and it ran for 3 yrs, then the a/c went out, next time (old R13 free-on) we charged it up, and it only lasted 3 weeks.
*know it has a leak, but don't know where.
So, i'm sure it's outdated, and not legal to fix in CA, but what can i do? just charge it up on the road trip myself every week?

I'm just wondering what the most expensive way and most affordable options i have would be.

please reccomend and give details, and if you need more info, i will edit and add, and would appreciate if you would edit and add onto yours. Otherwise, it's the Camry for the Roadtrip and would really love to take the Van w/the BeD! and house on wheels!!
*i know it's a gas hog, and I have to bath on the road, and all that, i'm a hygene freak and seasoned dry dirt camper.

Help me out with the A/C please.

I am not to familar with cars but my girlfriends 94 bonneville air conditioner has died or so we think. I picked up a pressure gauge from pep boys and test the pressure from the air conditioner and it seems like it is pressuarized but the pressure goes up and down. Now I noticed what I beleive is the air conditioner condenser the fly wheel spins for like a second or two and then stops. It looks like it catches and then lets go. Could it be the thermostat or is it the condenser???
