Every time I press on the brake pedal, turn on the lights, or turn on the turn signal all of the lights and the radio flicker off for a split second and then turn on as usual as if nothing had happened. Also, I have to put in a new battery about every 6 months because it is dead. This problem is driving me up the wall!
Thanks in advance to anyone who could help me diagnose and find the problem!

I have an 89 Mercury Cougar that will not start or run during any kind of wet weather. I am talking from fog to pouring buckets. I have changed the distributor cap and checked all kinds of sensors but have yet to discover the problem. The car runs and drives great during dry weather but is not reliable due to this unique problem. Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.

last week i had the issue with my jeep and a fan still going after i shut the jeep off, well it drained the battery. I took the battery and had it recharged because it was only two months old. Well now it sounds like it wants to start but it won't turn over. I need help because I'm clueless. The fan is not running anymore. It is a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I'm driving a red 1994 ford ranger pick-up that i purchased brand spanking new in 1995, it has over 250 thoundsand miles and still going strong and the engine is as quiet as a kentucky sunday morning ! I've always kept my oil changed on time and stuff like that,my family is pressuring me to get in debt and buy something newer, but i say why fix it if it ain't broken? how much longer can i have such luck with old faithful? she has'nt let me down yet and i see no reason to put her to sleep just yet! should i tell my family to take a hike? A friend recently gave the SC a right slating, saying that they were too slow and that the Turbo was the only one to go for.

Are SCs underpowered (compared to the Turbo)- are they still considered quick, especially for someone who has never driven either? Thanks!
