we have a chevy 1500 balzer from '94 with 160 thousand miles, and a chevy 1500 longbed truck from '91 with 320 thousand miles, both with the same engine.
im sure that the engines are original, but i was wondering how long can that engine last? and if i take excellent care wile the truck last another 100 thousand because im 16 and cant afford a new vehicle at the moment
the blazer isnt mine, but can stress , like hauling 3 tons of logs and 3000 pound logs up on a trailer, cause the engine to fail sooner?
my final question is when i try to start my truck (the 320 thousand one) i turn the ignition whithout a key in it and the engine will usally fire right off, but when i use my key, it wants to sit and click like its got a dead battery. can the key in the worn out ignition cause it not to connect right?
