ABS means ''Automatic Braking System.'' This is a system fitted to most better caliber Cars to-day. When you brake in a car fitted with a normal braking system the Brake Pads grip the Brake Disc as soon as you press the brake pedal. With an ABS System the brake Pads close and release rapidly as you press the brake pedal. This helps to prevent skidding.
You need to get this system checked by a company that deals with ABS systems otherwise your brakes could Lock Up and cause a serious accident. Try your nearest Honda Dealer.
With regard to the losing power it sounds like a Fuel Pump problem. Again see your dealer. If your Transmission is playing up you should notice as you step on the gas the engine Revs. go up but the vehicle speed will not increase much, again see your dealer.
Might be better to scrap the vehicle as these repairs will be costly.

ABS is anti-lock break system. When you slam on the brakes while you are on a slick surface, sensors will know when one or more of the wheels are starting to lock up. The system will start to modulate the brakes and pulse the brakes to prevent the wheel from locking and you losing control. When this is activated, there may or may not be a light on the dashboard light up. You will feel the pulsing in the brake pedal though.
I would have the car taken in and looked at about your other problem. It doesn't sound like a problem with the brakes or the ABS. If they malufunction, you will get some kind of warning since this is a safety circuit.
