ok my car will start up and drive about 1 mile or so and then it will die

My dad has a 95 DX Civic and He wants me to get a 93-95 modle to, I want a little bit newer one. He does all the work on our cars and always gets the parts w/ unlimited warrenties. I was wondering if some of those parts on his 95 would be good on a 96 or newer? Like belts, radiator, pumps, and any other parts?

I have never ran into this before until now I can get in the car drive it a block or so then it acts like you shifted into neutral and the engine just revs car wont move what I have to do is turn the car all the way off then start it again after a minute then it runs ok for another block im not sure if this is a trans problem or a sensor problem plz help…

The battery died, the radio is now locked, I need a 3 or 4 digit code to unlock it. The dealership wants to charge $45 but that seems to be a rip. It's a 2001, 2500.

(A friend mentioned some numbers important to unlock it 133/132, if that means anything)

my tuck has been in the shop for 3 weeks trying to help find out whats wrong with it. When its cold it overloads with gas. But when its warm it will start and run.shop said it needs a wireing harness.speed omiter works same as tack while sitting still running the miles are beeing added to odoniter replaced computer, complte digoistic on system checked all relays an sencor and have to think its the wiring harness, this is for a 1991 chevy silerado 1500 seies 5 speed tramsmission. Any help would be appricated.

i have change the fuel filter and the starter alot. if i let it sit for awhile it will start right up and drive fine. if i shut it off and then try to strart it up it wont start. Now it makes a cracking noise when its turning over. It turns over when i turn the key it just sounds like it is out of gas. what do i do?
