my tuck has been in the shop for 3 weeks trying to help find out whats wrong with it. When its cold it overloads with gas. But when its warm it will start and run.shop said it needs a wireing harness.speed omiter works same as tack while sitting still running the miles are beeing added to odoniter replaced computer, complte digoistic on system checked all relays an sencor and have to think its the wiring harness, this is for a 1991 chevy silerado 1500 seies 5 speed tramsmission. Any help would be appricated.

Sounds like you need a new throttle body to be honest. I really do not believe it is your wiring. If it was the wiring it would not start at all not get any fuel. The pulse heads may be bad in the TBI this would cause them to over inject fuel. Now if your wires got burnt due to a fire due to this problem you may need to replace some. I would try a new TBI though before buying wires.

wiring harness.....possible but unlikely............did you say you replaced the on board computer?...........is it a rebuilt?......is it the correct unit for your vehicle?.........have your computer checked to original manufacture specification,s........then have your engine temperature sensor checked [not the one for your Gage...the one that report,s to your o,b,c........it,s responsible for your cold start mixture.].....next check the throttle body itself......may need rebuilding/replacing.
