how do i find cylinder # 1 on a 1995 ford aerostar.

Looking at the engine from the front( timing cover side) Your vehicle #1 will be on the left, the closest to the front. Otherwise, the coils are numbered on top, just follow the plug wire to #1

Cylinder #1 is usually the cylinder nearest the timing end and #4 is nearest the flywheel unless its a renault and french.

you should have numbered coils but number one cyclinder is always the farthest from the flywheel.
