yes you can install posi on your rear diff.you can add the the same trak -lok unit available from mopar or go w/ther aftermarket comp. that offer posi for a9.25 diff.make sure you get somebody to do it professionally

Every manufacturer that makes a limited slip differential makes one for your vehicle. The big 3 come from the factory with Eaton Trac-lok. Chev calls it posi-trac, Ford calls it Traction lock, and in a Dodge it is Sure-Grip.
It takes special tools to properly set up a differential, and unless you want to spend a fortune for the tools, have it done at a good mechanic shop that has the proper tools.

Lockers is the kind of posi you want. Limited slips diffs or LSDs wear out and have a tendency to contaminate gear oil, on top of causing slightly lower MPG. Lockers you can actually turn off and on. I've heard of prices under 1,000 installed. Which isn't bad for turning a average 4x4 into a offroad beast.

ward off Ram 1500......It had the large 5.9L 360ci engine for a lengthy time period, even though it became once a obviously aspirated gas engine. Now the Cummin's swifter Diesel in stay sparkling of Rams 2500/3500 is another tale. That engine is in undesirable well being!!!!
