I've done several and it's a real pain in the butt. I would take it to a body shop, the average person has neither the tools or patience to get the job done.

Open up the interior trim on the door and the insulation/vapour barrier, detach and lift out the glass. Pop off the handle retainers and voila make the change. Insure you make sure to do the research on whether you'll need a special removal tool or not and have it handy. Some car shops have a tool loan program and you might get the extra tools there. Good luck!

first you have to remove the inside door panel, and unhook the lock and door rods from the handle, there are two 10mm bolts holding it in, remove those pop out the old handle put in the new one and don't forget to hook the rods to the lock and door handle, they are secured with plastic clips, usually yellow clips.
