What kind of jack or tool would you use to raise your car properly (specifically jeep yj) to do a suspension lift. Think I want to do one someday and I am just curious.

My power windows on my car are a piece of crap. When I hit the down button, it'll sometimes stick and go all the way down and I have to bang on the armrest for about 15 minutes to get it to go back up. The motor will click, but it won't go up unless I beat the crap out of it. Without looking at it, does anyone have any ideas as to where the actual problem lies? This car is junk on the window aspect...I've had to replace both the switch AND the motor 2 times in the last 3 years. My boyfriend thinks the window may just be off track...is this possible? (Sure would be nice if it is and I don't have to buy a brand new motor/switch/regulator...)

Can you help? I'm just about to start a new job at an estate agent and have a few concerns regarding personal safety one of which being that my car does not have central locking. I would like remote central locking and was wondering if it would be worth my time (and money) getting it fitted to my current car (if this can be done) or whether I should just buy a car that already has it? The problem I have with buying a new car is that I have only had my license for a couple of months so my insurance will be quite high. What would you suggest? Thanks for reading xx

I have a large engine ford explorer V8-302 AWD Explorer, and all i use for gas is the 93 Octane. I have noticed that when using 93 the car run's smoother, and it the sounds sounds more Solid, and Stable. Does this sound like it could be true or maybe just a figment of my imagination.

3.Replaced the fuel filter with new one
4.Replaced the air filter with new one.
5.Maintaining the correct tyre pressure.
6.No rash driving only smooth acceleration and brakes.
7.Changed Engine oil and filter ,Gear oil and filter.
8.Removed, cleaned the Mass Air Flow Filter with Carb clean and refitted properly.
9.Lubricated all the linkages of accelerator cables.
10.Adjusted the recommended idle speed(760 +- 40 rpm)
11.Replaced the radiator fan clutch and checked the working of the radiator.

Please let me know anything further can be done to increase the mileage of my car.

One more doubt my dashboard messages shows sometimes as folows "CATALYST + OWNER'S HANDBOOK".

When I'm browsing on the sites such as Dodge or Chevrolet, I can't find there informations about top speed and 0-60mph acceleration of their models. When i search for these informations on European websites, i have no problem to find this values. It's something like a law order not to show these informations at official sources?
