My 96 ford mustang did not pass inspection because my HEADLAMP MOUNTING BROKEN. I've called around and the mounting costs about as much as the light itself. Can I do this repair myself? I only have 14 days left to get it fixed. I tried to take the whole light out myself, but I was afraid to break something. I don't want to put too much money into this old car...But I NEED to get it done? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I heard that going to a salvage yard is so much cheaper, but I have no idea what Im doing. My headlight are all yellow anyway.. so replacing them would be nice, but costly.

I want to purchase a new Honda Civic, but they're just so damn expensive. Now I'm looking at the new Mazda 3's. I'm partial to Honda and Toyota for their reliability. Are Mazda's reliable cars that will last long like Hondas and Toyotas?

My car originals is 185/65/14. To put on 15 and stay with original settings, they state to put on 195/55/15 but I was thinking 205/55/15 better. And as far as size 16 they state to put on 205/45/16, but I was thinkimg 205/50/16 to get more sidewall. Will the sizes 205/55/15 and 205/50/16 fit my car and keep the speedometer working normal, I heard the rule it has to fit under 3% greater or less and both sizes say 1.6% to slow, whatever that means. I live in a place with bad terrain, so potholes are on my way a lot. What size should I get, and the other sizez, will they fit my car and keep the speedometer working normal? Thanks a LOT!!!!

I found a 2005 Kia rio sedan for 7000 with 23000 miles on it. However, I know that Honda civics can last a long time as long as you mantain them. Could this be true for a Kia rio as well? I don't know anything about kia's.

I have heard so many people make a guess, and one Honda offical to the next has a different answer, so what do you think?
The one I like best so far is Civic Recreational Vehicle because the CR-V is off the Civic platform. Makes sense to me, esp since there is an HR-V in Europe and Japan and it would make sense to call the Honda Recreational Vehicle.

Thoughts?

I just bought this suv and found both springs were broken. After raising and suporting vehicle to remove springs I found out they where so bad that they did'nt have any tension on them anymore so was able to remove them by making one cut through sping with grinder and they came out in four pieces. The chilton tells me to disconnect the front driveshaft from the axle, stabilizer bar links and shocks at axle, disconect the track bar at the sill braket and the tie rod at the pit mam arm. then lower the axle untill tension is removed. It does not mention any thing about a spring compretion tool. Well my qestoin is do I need to discnnect all this stuff if I use this tool, or will the tool even fit with that thing that looks kind of like a shock that is in the midel of the spring?
