i need to know how to complete the timing belt of a BMW 318i 2.0 L
N42 engine code.

any websites u guys know would be useful

I'm not sure. Call your local dealership (you can llok them up on the BMW National webpage) and ask them. The reason I say this is because many BMWs, including some of the 3 series, have timing chains rather than timing belts. These VERY rarely break and VERY rarely need to be replaced.

It's a really involved procedure which requires quite a few special bmw service tools. check out www.bimmerdiy.com (I'm not sure they have this in particular, but they have a lot of articles). (and n42 does not have an engine belt).

I don't know your skill level, but I would say to proceed with caution because you could easily destroy your motor if you don't do it correctly.
