Hi, I have a 91 Jeep Wrangler (2.5l) with about 160k miles. The previous owner used it as a daily driver and as a "mudding" vehicle. It ran great the day I bought it, but recently white smoke started coming out of the exhaust. It’s most likely, coolant being burnt with the fuel. I think the cylinder head and gasket have been ruined from overheating.

I looked under the hood for the first time since I bought it and noticed that caked on dirt was in the coolant reservoir. The radiator was brownish inside – I’m unsure if this was mud or rust. I drained the radiator and mostly brown liquid came out. Once it dried out, there were little brown flakes on the inside top.

Should I get the engine replaced (expensive), or take a risk and just replace the cylinder head and gasket (cheap)? Also could the water pump have failed from rusty coolant circulating through it?

I'm a college student, so I’m looking for an affordable solution (nothing unnecessary). I've yet to see what the oil looks like.

I have a three month old Mahindra Scorpio, can any one tell me how to increase the performance & reduce the vibrations of the vechile using treatment oils and special air filters.
Is X1R friction eliminator the best treatment oil for cars or are there better options available.

I am in the process at looking at another truck. I currently own a 94' Nissan Pick-up but I am looking for something newer. I came across the Tundra and the Tacoma and I heard Toyota trucks are pretty good and reliable. I know the Tundra is the bigger of the two but which one would recommend for a 20 year old college student?

Also, not that it is a big deal or anything but does the 01-04 model Tundras and Tacomas come with keyless entry?

Anyways, positive answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know Pontiac put an insulated pad on the inside of a 1965 GTO, but I am not sure if the sheet metal was painted black or the color of the car.

Wow, I've rode in a pontiac pursuit of a friend of mine's the other day, and it's very small. There is an extraordinarily surpirsingly small amount of rear leg room. Sitting behind a 5'4 passenger, I had to take off my shoes to fit my feet. I am only 5'10" myself. As well, today, the front passenger side wheel became loose, and it's only 1 month old. The wheel was wobbling dramatically, and almost fell off. Everyone was staring, and pointing at it. I haven't been talking to him since, but, doesn't that seem a bit strange for a 1 month old car? As well, on the two front doors, the place you put your hand in to close the door, they became loose, and wouldn't stay down on the door. Both fell out, and required dealer repair. This is something you'd be hearing about in a OLD vehicle. Is this actually that much better than a Sunfire?
