I have a three month old Mahindra Scorpio, can any one tell me how to increase the performance & reduce the vibrations of the vechile using treatment oils and special air filters.
Is X1R friction eliminator the best treatment oil for cars or are there better options available.

First of all don't worry. Scorpio is a pretty decent vehicle and you don't need to change it.
Now coming to your question, following are the probable reasons for vibrations:
1. Engine needs re-tuning: If you have already got your first service done, may be that time the mechanic tried to do some fiddling with the throttle valve to either increase or decrease the response time or low end torque (Pick Up in simpler words).
2. Your balancing shaft/ rod can be disturbed. This can be done easily at any service station.
3. By performance if you mean pickup, do not haste into it until you complete 10,000 Kms. Diesel vehicle's true performance comes only when it has run that many Kms.

Hope this helps.

boss u have made a very big mistake by buying a mahindra scorpio
yaar that car is bound to vibrate as u exceed 80kmph i know people who had accidents at high speeds due to insufficient braking and suspension problem in this vehicle
this vehicle is only meant for taxi drivers and the friction busters and air filters u r talking abt are a waste of money since the vehicle's original body shape is the best the company is offering, any alterations wud not be fruitful etal

if it is vibrating at 3 months, you should ask for a replacement. the common rail engine is supposed to be very refined and powerful though part of it still works on the old pushrod technology.

Stick to high grade diesel. For the first 1year get your oil topped/ changed at the M&M service station. Their service network is full of idiots, who might say that your vehicle is not performing because you did not use the recommended fuels and oils.

Better option is to sell it at whatever you get and buy a better vehicle. You made a mistake in the first place by buying a Mahindra vehicle.
