I've heard that in order to own a Rolls Royce the buyer has to be like a Prince, King or something... I've also heard that even a president is not allowed to buy it... meaning they won't even sell it to a President... rest aside a millionare businessman.... now... does anyone know if this is true or jus a lie?

P.S- anyone know how the process of buying a Rolls Royce is different then buying a regular car like Mistubishi, Mazda, Nissan, or other car makes? ANDDDD if you were buying a Rolls Royce could you finance it? Thanks :)

I am thinking about getting either a used sunfire or used sc2 but I was wondering how may miles they can get in their lifetime? Is 150,000 for a sunfire mean the sunfire won't last me much longer? Thanks for everyone's help!

Is buy cars from websites such as seizecars.com or car auction.com a scam? Also I've been looking on ebay and there seems to be a lot of hidden charges.

I recently bought a 1993 Toyota Corolla with 168,000+ miles on it for $19,750, which is somewhat expensive compared to older Tercel's with similar mileage. But the seller, who approached me in a parking lot, said the car had been blessed by Pope John Paul II on a US visit several years ago, hence the 'salvage' title. Am I correct in my understanding that a 'salvage' title indicates the car has been blessed, or 'salvaged' from a life of sin, by a major religious figure? The car needs new shock absorbers all around, and has a cracked head, but is otherwise in fair condition. D

My teen daughter needs a car. My friend has a 2001 Crown Vic cop car he's willing to sell for $500. It has 200,000 miles on it and his wife has been driving it and says it runs fine. But I don't have $500 to just dump on a bad deal. I couldn't afford alot of work on it. Any advice? Would YOU buy it?

fightingchance.com uses fax machines to send bids to dealers and the dealers send you their best offer via fax. is this better than actually going into a car dealership and having to deal face to face with a car salesperson, which I do not want to do. I would like testimonials from people who have used this service or one like it.

My mom's old car is just about worn out, its a Cadillac Catera we bought used. Great car, but the parts are just too expensive. She wants a car that's small and comfortable, but kind of sporty. She doesn't like to drive, so she wants it to be as easy as possible. We've had good luck picking cars that are almost new, but were returned to the dealer with 700-6000 miles on em. I'd like a price range from about 23-30k or so. Right now we're looking at Grand Prix GXPs and Impala SS and such, but nothing really... pops... for her. Any ideas? Thanks, in advance.

im moving back to CA for school next month, my car started having problems yesterday and i dont think its a small problem. i was gonna take my car back with me but now im thinking about selling it cuz if it is a major problem with the car then that will take away from the money i need to drive there(i live in DFW) and that will be a major block in the road right now, but if i sell the car i can just ride the bus over there and have an extra several hundred but the school is 30 min from fresno and 3hrs from LA where my other family/friends are and there isnt much to do in the area of the school. should i keep it and find transportation to get to around. i want to make a trip to LA at least once or twice a month..if i dont have a car i could just ride the greyhound and stay with one of my relatives for the weekend and ride back...what do u think?should i keep it or sell it? people will still buy it even if there is a problem but just for 400-500$ less

OK! CarMax is offering me $11,000 for my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. The appraisal was great. The car is in great condition, but I have high miles. I still owe $16,000 on the car. So if I take the $11,000 I will stil have to pay off $5,000 more. Do I take the deal? I really want to save and my car payments are too high. I need to get rid of the car but is this the way to go? What offer should I take for this car? One guy said have someone take over payments and pay it off, but then I will not make any money to get a smaller junk car! HELP! HELP!I really want my 08 to be a great year financially but money matters!

I was looking for a car under $4000 and this seems like the best one. 2001 Ford Escort ZX2. Has auto, a/c, power everything. Only 70,000 miles. Asking $3900.

It's a new car DEALER and comes with 3 month warranty, money back guarantee and Carfax.

I heard FORDs are pieces of crap. So should I stay or should I go?

Anyone have experience with this particular model? I need a small car with great gas mileage. Gas is $4.00/gal here!
