depends on what your looking for?
mustangs are awesome for singles or couples - its more of a 2+2 than a true 4 seater
it features a range of powerful V8 engines, suiting all budgets & driver capabilities.....steering is decent, thought not outstanding, and it features a ancient semi-rear axle....not the best system
Charger is more for the family.....a full 5 seater, will a large-ish boot, bold styling and a much more modern multi-link rear suspension system....like the mustang, it features a great range of engines at a wide range of prices, but it's steering is a little lacking in feel
Mustang: cheap, bold, powerful but not for families
Charger: roomy, powerful, good looking but a little heavy on fuel
both have cheap interiors

Wow, so in a comparison between a sports coupe and a sports sedan you suggest an econobox? What the hell?
Anyways I'd go with the Mustang GT over the Charger R/T. Looks are a push, but the Mustang has the nicer interior. Its also probably faster since it doesn't have as much weight to pull around as the Charger does.
Like someone else said I'd take the Goat over the Mustang and the upcoming G8 over the Charger.

Being as the Dodge is owned by Mercedes, I would definately go with the Mustang. Too many cooks ......... The Mustang has been made for 43 yrs now.

i absolutely love my mustang! but if your looking to have more than 2 people in the car go with the charger. the mustang doesnt have much room.

I would go with a Charger with the Hemi engine! It seems like everyone and their dads have the mustang!! OH WAIT.. I would for sure wait for the new chevy cameros!! They are badass!!! :)

I've never liked Ford (even though mustangs are hot!) and the last dodge i had gave me a TON of problems :)
PS. Don't get a hyundai

ford mustang the svt cobra one depends
its light weight than the charger
but i go with my vr4
