Lets say u buy a car last year. You had horrible credit and u had a huge intrest rate....ur credit got better and u didnt want to refinance..lets say i owed 20,000 and the car is worth 17,000, would the 3,000 be applied to the new car loan or would it disappear and be hidden in with the jacked up price of the new car....

i have two boys, one 9 and the other 7. And im in a hurry for a new car. I want a car that is sporty, luxo, and stylish. My choices are the infiniti g35/ acura TL type-s/ Lexus Is350
because they are the ones who meet my standards. My wife wants me to get a lexus Rx350, but im 32 im still somewhat young and that lexus is for old dudes. Its very hard to choose a car when you have 2 boys and a job, and using your car every minute. Basicly i want a car that fits my lifestyle and my standards. But which one????

When I bought my 2002 Xterra in 2005, my interest was too high, 21%. They said after a while I could try to refinance... it's been almost 2 yrs, how do I do that? Yes, I know I have to call them... but does anyone really know how that works? My payments weren't always on time, does that reflect badly on it? Thanks

How can a person get a car if they can't pay cash for it (meaning they need a payment), they can't get financed because they don't work a full-time job because they are a full time student. They also cannot get a co-signer because people are dumb.

Any advice I need a car by next week. A nice one.

And when considering milage on a car...How much is too much?

hi just passed my uk driving test yesterday and am looking to get a car but i really have no idea on what to get. my budget aint brilliant around £500 but i only need something small - cheap insurance wise- but reliable.. what sort of milage should i be looking for, what engine size, what cars are more reliable than others,what would be cheap insurance wise etc.
ill be using the car on a daily basis to do school runs and shopping etc any help and ideas would be great. many thanks in advance!!

I just bought a used car a week ago. When I test drove it everything seemed fine. Two days ago it started jumping/knocking as it went into second gear. I checked the tranny fluid and it was almost bone dry. I filled it up to the appropriate marking and it stopped the hard shifting. Well, it seems that everyday after I get off of work it starts doing it again. Never in the morning. I was going to school last night and it started doing it again so I checked the tranny fluid and it wasn't low. I added in just a hair more (not overfilling it) and when I got out of class 3 hours later it was fine. It is really weird that it will do it than be okay for a while than start up again. I am under a LIMITED 30- Day Warranty and so my question is...if the tranny was going out before they sold me the car and didn't tell me, what are my rights to taking it back or making them pay for damages. I think that goes against the Lemon Law right? I need to know my steps. Plse don't give me a link to a lemon

i bought a car from dealer, financed. this car salesman is a little shady. i got approved over the phone from the finance co. so i signed bill of sale and he transferred the car to me. 3 days later he calls me frantic saying that the bank didnt pay him for the car because paperwork was incorrect. so since i have the car and signed a contract can i still keep the car??

A friend bought a 1999 Saturn SL2 for $9K and Kelly Blue Book says it is worth $5K in excellent condition. The place advertises help establishing credit and help getting a car. The interest rate is 22% and the total will be over 15K after payments for 3 1/2 years. She just bought the car Saturday and Wednesday tried to take it back. They video taped her signing the contract! They said if she brought back the car if would go on her credit record and they would garnish her wages. She makes $7.78 per hour. How can she get out of this? Can she get out of this?

I had a pickup truck that I was still making payments on it. A guy whom I met throught the Internet offered me a deal, he said he would take over the payments and offered me some cash in advance. He took the car. For the first days everything went smoothly, he called me to verify he got insurance for the car, and so on. But when the payment was due, the guy dissapeared, I cant find him, he is not answering the phone, and I visited his house and looks like he just left. The house is empty. What should I do???

Hello! I am looking for suggestions for a good SUV to get around in. So far, half the people I have talked to said go with an import then the other half say stay with North American made! LOL

Looking for some suggestions from SUV owners :)

I like the Nissan Xterra as well as the Jeep Cherokee.

Considerations:

Highway driving in snow
Need med. cargo space (min 4 seats as well)
4x4, 4wd are a must
SAFETY rating is very important to me

I am looking at both new and used SUV's

Well i am car searching... and i ran into this 2007 chevy cobolt, 0 miles, brand new, silver, xm satalite radio, remote start up, 2 door,....which are nice but the apr is 4.6% for 36 months and after that it goes back to 8.9% for 6 years... the car is around 17, 000....car payments of $334. do you think its worth it?

My girlfriend thinks she is getting a good deal and i think she is getting ripped off. She wants to lease, hasn't signed the paper yet, 2007 Ford Focus for $225 a month for 3 years. They are giving her 10000 miles a year. Each day she travels to work for 40 miles. I think this is a very bad deal, what do you think?

Okay here it goes: I had a jeep for only 6months that I purchased new. I then in May 2006 bought a Toyota Solara with $3,000 negative equity attached to that car. NOW, I'm at it again. I have my eyes on a 2007 Mustang, and I want that car!!! I know if I get it, there will be more negative equity attached to this car. I know that the rebate will help some, but not by much. What are my options here? Is there any way I can get this car without my payments going up anymore? OR am I stuck?!
