I really want a fast AWD car (no suvs) at a reasonable price, which for me is low 20's. Any ideas? I can't even find a good list of AWD cars.

Generally, which one is better? Why is that car fax reports 7 records for VIN 1G2WP1214WF251115, but autocheck has 14 ( I have no Idea what the records are of though)?

If I was to talk my parents in to buying an unlimited plan, I assume autocheck would be the better choice?

I have bought a car from a private owner a few days ago and the engine went on it the next day. The car had 160,000 miles on it.

Is there a California law that says I should get my money back?
I bought the car and the engine when on it within 24 hrs.

i am lookin to sell a 1996 red nissan micra.. full service history, no dents, very low mileage...23 000 miles... one owner prior to myself. 5 gears, manual, petrol, 1.0 litre. in very good condition.
(however, radio does not work)

I've bought this car last week and today someone from dealership called me and saied that the need my proof of income. Well I have no problem with that but since within a week i took this car three time to service department for minor problems, I'm thinking that this is a good chance that i dont show them the proof of income so maybe they take the car away. Because if they cant approved the loan, it means that I never purchased that car. What is my answer?

Where can I find a VIN on a 1991 Chevrolet 3500 besides the windshield and the back side of the door? I bought a truck, but I have suspicions it's stolen or something. It's weird, I'm 99% sure the title is real (looks real, plus it has the eagle watermark when you hold it up to the light, kinda like on money), but on the title, the VIN is only 14 characters long. They have got a matching tag of the 14 numbers riveted to the inside of the cab, where the door closes. The tag looks like it's made of sheet metal, it's not even cut perfectly square. Very shady. Stupid me, I paid for the truck without checking. He told me that the cab isn't the orginal, so they had to swap vins. I don't know. I want to check to see if the chassie or anything would have a VIN? Also, if I could get some advice on what you think is going on. I'm going to the BMV tomorrow, see if they can tell me if it's stolen or not and WHY the VIN is only 14 characters.

my father bought a new car a few days ago, and his brother came by and while he was here he said there is some program going on right now that if you buy a new car the government will give you $3000 for your old one to clean up the air pollution. has anyone heard of this? my father asked me to find info on it but i havent seen anything.

I'm trying to buy a car but am being turned down saying I need a co-signer. I'm 25 and make decent money, not really anything too bad on my credit but not much good either. So many people have said to me "they can do anything they want for you, if they want to get you in a car they will" I thought this was the bank's decision on whether or not they wanted to take a risk. My cousin wants to buy a car here in California and she lives in Texas. Is that possible? She wants to buy it from a dealership. She wants to know if she can buy the car and have it registered in Texas so she doesnt have to pay California and Texas taxes and just pays Texas taxes. How does one go about this?

Both cars im looking at are low miles with under 100,000. Also there havnt been any major problems with them at all, the dealers claim. In your opinion are they reliable?

I have my vehicle listed for sale online. I received several emails from several people, all of them from other countries. They ALL say the same thing. They state they are interested in my vehicle and that my asking price is just fine. All they want is my contact info, such as name and address so they can send a cashiers check. No bank information was asked for. They say they already have a shipper to pick up the vehicle when I have the cash in hand. Ive had about 8 offers from different countires all saying the same thing, just different wording. Anyone had the same issue?

How do you talk them down $1000-2000.

Also, should I be worried when the dealer says I can drive it to my dad or to a mechanic? Some don't say anything but some suggest it.

I know I should look for rust on this car I looked at. Toyota Celica. There was a lot of water in the driver's area only. But it was not wet at the top where something from the engine coulda leaked it. It was definately rain water. They said they fixed it. How do I check it
