Generally, which one is better? Why is that car fax reports 7 records for VIN 1G2WP1214WF251115, but autocheck has 14 ( I have no Idea what the records are of though)?

If I was to talk my parents in to buying an unlimited plan, I assume autocheck would be the better choice?

I am employed at a New car Dealer.
I have used both Carfax & Autocheck
I have found errors with both but this is a rarity.

I actually prefer Autocheck because the report is easier to read, (better layout) & provides a little more information than Carfax.
Autocheck is a little cheaper, so I find it has more value for the money.

There is another site that offers a similar paid service, however I have no experience with it.
http://www.vin-check.net/
it appears to be priced about the same as Autocheck

Vehicle history reports are only little pieces of info. They are not bibles and you should never put your faith in them. I suggest people buy both and compare data. Two reports offer a wide variety of info which can be added to your vehicle inspection to get the best idea of a car's condition.

Autocheck is what the auctions use. CarFax has its flaws.
