Hi,
I am trying to buy a new car and like all of us did some research on Yahoo Autos and other websites. In most of the cases these websites show Invoice Price and MSRP which i understood as the Price at which the Dealer got it from the Manufacturer(Invoice Price) and MSRP-as the Market price at which they are supposed to sell.
When i actually approached the dealer they are not willing to show the Actual Invoice. If i ask them an Invoice Price they will scribble some price on a piece of paper and show it, which may not be really true.
Question--Is it possible to get to see the actual Invoice(or Actual InvoicePrice) which the Dealer got from the manufacturer?
Also from my experience the Invoice Price shown on the Yahoo Auto is different (much lower) than the price actually given by the dealer

Just has to move.

Going to use it for a short time only.

NO embedded gps

Has to accelerate quickly and has to start reliably.

A nice paint job, that just blends in would be preferred.

Owner must be willing to part with car and not be offended if it is destroyed.

Has to have large trunk size that can hold upwards of ten duffle bags.

Anyone know where i can find a car like this?

Thanks

I don't have any credit cards or bank accounts. If I can find a site that will work for commision off the sale, that would be fine.

Edmunds.com tells me that a stipped down, basic version of the car I want would run me about 14,500. But, whenever I go to a lot, they're always way more than that.

Do they make these stripped down versions (I'm talking just the basic package, nothing special like sunroof, or six-disc CD changer, etc.)? If so, can I ask a dealer to order one for me?

For instance, on the internet, the invoice is 14,500, but the dealer across the highway from my house has one for 22,500. Now, I can't afford that, so can I have the dealer order me one in my price range that has what I want?

Have you ever had a customer who's trade in vehicle was worth more than the new (or new to them) car? It seems far fetched but if you traded your new Hummer in for a Corola (gas efficency??) how do you handle it?

I want to buy a new matrix. But, my friend told me to wait until dealers start to sell 2008 model because they will always decrease the price of the 2007 model ; so. I can buy a 2007 model cheaper.

Is it true?
or when do you think is the best time to buy a new car?
