Hi Everyone, I am looking to buy a new Car, maybe Budgeting for around £3000 tops. We are a family of 4 soon to be 5, with three little little ones. I was thinking along the MPV route, but want anything to big... what can you all advise.

For that sort of money you wont get too much.
Go for an older, bigger car as these can often be bought cheaper. Try a Passat, Mondeo or A4 Audi. These are all larger cars which can take 5 adults but running costs can be higher than a small car. However, you will find there are more extras and the drive is better and the safety elements higher.

£3k is enough to get something good and reliable, take a look at the usual fleet cars like the mondeo and vectra. A little boring but they hold very little money since they are sold in such large numbers. This means that second hand prices are low, and people like you and me get fairly new, reliable cars for little money.
You really can't beat a mondeo as a budget concious family man, more reliable than a vectra, and if you check out www.reliabilityindex.co.uk you'll see that the Mondeo is only marginally behnid the audi A4, and miles ahead of the Passat.
From experience I'd avoid the Scenic and Picasso like the plague, go for a boring but solid Vauxhall Zafira if you want an MPV.

3000.. not a lot but try a renault scenic ( old style for this price - probably a 00 - 51) - plenty of room, the 1.6 has a great engine and is very nippy. it drives like a normanl car, v.easy handling and cheap insurance. My wife had one for two years and we had no major problems with it at all.

Try a Mondeo Estate ,seats 5 in comfort and a big boot.Also there are plenty on the market .Well speced and cheap parts and servicing. What more can you ask for ?

nicely in case you want a sedan, then a good looking good decision might want to likely be an Accord or Camry. both are quite sturdy, sturdy on gasoline, and performance loads of constructive aspects. I think u should go for a landcriuser or pathfinder or if i was u i would go for a Range rover or Armada i think these are best family cars, think about it !
