If I still owe on my car, but I want to get a new one. Will the dealer "buy" the car from me and then add it to the price of the car I want to purchase?

It was this sunday. I put the deposit to hold a car. But after 2days I don't want to hold it. I even didn't sign any contract. And they already took $1000 from my bank. I called them because I want to cancel it and refund it. A salesman told me that I am gonna lose $1000(he was so rude,i never forget it). But I know I have a right to get full deposit.
I call them and try to reach a sales manager. BUT he never anwser. I left several messeges but never call me back.
I am an international student. I don't have parents and any relative here in USA. I do not have power... I even don't know where I can ask it. I am so upset and nervous..HELP ME. Ok, I know about KBB and Nada. I can find the retail value, the private party values (excellent/good/poor) and the trade-in values of used cars. What about the wholesale value? I understand that this is the guide the dealers use to determine the price for the cars they sell. I also understand that this value varies daily. Does anyone know of an online source (free would be great, low-cost would be ok) where you can go to get the inside line on the wholesale cost of cars (to better position oneself in bargaining with dealers)?

My boyfriend and I have been fighting about this for a while. I have a 2005 Mustange and I love it. He wants the new Camero. But he loves gadgets and the weird cd player. He also says the suspention in my car sucks and it's too small (he has a '93 Cadillac now and is a big Caddy fan).

(BTW I'm on record as not being a Ford fan, I eally don't like Fords, just NEW and OLD Mustangs)

Like I said, I like to stunt around town and showing off what I got. So ofcorse I am going to have rims, tv's, and a banggin' system! But the only problem is, Im on a budget...1300 for the car. So it's going to have to be a used car. But there's a difference b/t female type cars and male type cars...what car should I get or rather CAN I get? And be able to put some 20 or 22" rims on it w/o having to do work on the rim area? This is going to be my first car, I'm 15.5yrs. but Im VERY independent! ANY SUGGESTIONS....

I paid a large sum of money for a car for a friend as they had written off their old one. They have to date not paid me any money back for the car and they are as yet not in possesion of the log book (car reg document in the UK)

Can i confisicate the car as I am in effect the legal owner of the vehicle or do i need to pursue it through the courts (of which it will be futile anyway as the person seems to be severly in debt)?

i have an 06 impreza 2.0i hatch and i want to put turbo on it!BUT heres the thing...should i buy an old second hand wrx engine (97-99..02-05)and put that in or should i just buy a turbo kit for the the original engine it has now??? I was told it would cost alot to do an engine swap and plus i would have to get a better and stronger drivetrain! If i decide to just buy the turbo kit, is there one for this model? and is it better to have it changed from SOHC to DOHC before i get it turbocharged?? and is it cheaper to do all this??? rather than buyin the older wrx engine?
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have decided to lease my cars. I have done the finance and for my use and situation leasing a new car every 24months is my best option.

I do however need to find a good, reputable company. While they all seem to charge about teh same I need one which I know wont vanish in a few years.

If anyone has any recommendations from personal use that would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

i had a prob with an ebay user. i bidded on his van instead of bidding on another van. i asked him nicely if he would cancel my bid but he said i'll get outbid on last day anyway. i couldnt wait to last day as i wanted to bid on another van that was ending soon but ebay wouldnt let me bid on it because my high bid on the other van i accedetly put on. he was very rude and knowing i wanted to bid on another van he wouldnt cancel my bid.

so from lots of help from you all i go by bid retracted. ever since then hes been giving me grief sending me messages quite rude and insulting. ive kindly sent him one back as a buyer and seller on cars myslf to forget about the bid and to stop sending me messages. he wont leave it and im getting constant messages from him saying hes putting a bad word around ebay for me. ive asked him where so i can defend myself and hes being childish.

i have tried not to respond to his messages but im getting really fed up and keep telling him to leave me alone

Im looking to buy a used honda civic and most of the ones I can afford have a salvage title. They were either because of theft or because they were in an accident. They are fixed now but is it a good idea to buy them anyway with a salvage title?

I got a loan from a used car dealership and have been making $431 monthly payments (w/ a 13-15% interest rate) for about a year now on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring.

Walked out the door at about $14K+, I'm tired of the car and want to trade it in via another car dealer for something better like a Mazda 6 that might run around $15-16K+... but not sure if it's too early to even try??

What type of time frame should I be safe to try this i... or is it based on how much you have paid so far?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. =] - Thanks in advance.
