One the best classifieds website is www.hikwik.com where you can buy and sell stuff for free. Chat with online user and you can even text them.
It also has a free separate section for freelancers.

the best one I know of is craigslist. Go to craigslist in yahoo search. Then locate the area you want to place your ad in. It is a good web.
