Warranty on Chevolet's are transferable and go with the car and can be transferred to the next buyer. Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge's warranty is not transferrable.

There are so many loopholes when it comes to that kind of stuff. By using the word coverage, they could be implying that GM's onstar is safety coverage, free for a certain amount of time and therefore is the best in America. Just by changing the wording a little, a mfg can say what they want legally.

Just read the fine print and compare it to Daimler Chrysler's. You'll see the difference, especially since GM's OnStar has extended coverage. And Chevy says, "Best COVERAGE in America" not, " Best WARRANTY in America"

I'm curious about your so-called "lifetime coverage"what does it NOT cover, i've heard through the grape vine that their are some pretty surprising exclusions on that.....speaking of manufacturers jargon.

if your are referring to chrysler's lifetime powertrain warranty, it is non-tranferable and has limitations--read the fine print. chevy's warranty is goo for 100,000 mile, is transferrable and supplies roadside assistance for the duration.

IT PRETTY SIMPLE................
THE GM WARRANTY IS TRANSFERABLE AND THE VEHICLES WILL STILL BE RUNNING AFTER 100,000 MILES.
THE CHRYSLER WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT BE RUNNING AFTER 100,000 MILES, THUS YOU NEED LIFETIME.
