I recently bought a 1993 Toyota Corolla with 168,000+ miles on it for $19,750, which is somewhat expensive compared to older Tercel's with similar mileage. But the seller, who approached me in a parking lot, said the car had been blessed by Pope John Paul II on a US visit several years ago, hence the 'salvage' title. Am I correct in my understanding that a 'salvage' title indicates the car has been blessed, or 'salvaged' from a life of sin, by a major religious figure? The car needs new shock absorbers all around, and has a cracked head, but is otherwise in fair condition. D

So...some of you SEEM to be suggesting that this car did not get an official audience with His Holiness, is that right? And that maybe I should have paid something closer to the KBB price of $2,000-2,500? Is that what I am hearing here?

Are you kidding? Salvage means that VIN number was "Totaled" at some point by the insurance company. Then, someone went and "salvaged it", rebuilding it from whatever condition it was in.

Never never never never ever buy a car with a salvaged title.

you got ripped. A salvage title means it was in an accident and the frame was damaged. It may drive well. but you wont be able to insure it. Untill you fix it and pass inspections. and you get screwed for every little thing.
I bought a 1998 toyota camry for 160 dollars spent about 2500.00 in parts plus paint job. and it only had 75000.00 miles and the interior is perfect.
and i got 6 cylinders.
however i do have a 1989 Huffy Ryino For sale, has affter market battman pedals, rear pegs, and hand brakes. I'll sell it to you for just 3400.00 dollars it has a savior title Jesus the good lord pissed on it

I hope you are kidding. First of all you paid way to much. Secondly a salvage title is a vehicle that was in a wreck and totalled out by the insurance company and then rebuilt.

Despite the extravagantly high price, I hope you paid cash, because if you ever have a totalling accident, you will be lucky to get any settlement amount from an insurance co., let alone (if you financed[would love to know the bank]) enough to pay the holiest balance on that loan...

On the opposite, a few atheists are really devout. Religion does no longer always need to comprise a deity. Take Buddhism, for illustration. However, no longer every body considers Buddhism strictly a faith. As for being within the faith and spirituality phase, you look to have forgotten that Spirituality part of the class. Spirituality additionally does no longer require a deity. In addition, the loss of faith or spirituality is similarly as principal to the discipline as is every other element of it.
