i am bring a car from the windsor on canada into the usa "car was a buddies i bought it off him how do i this???" i plan on moving back to canada in a few years so what do i do???

You will need to register the car in the State you will be living in. You will have about 30 days to do so. Some take a bit longer than what the law requires. But to be on the safe side. That would be about all there is to it.

If you own it, you can bring it with you. No problems. Other then a safety inspection and an emissions test you should have nothing else to do in order to register it here...which you will have to do once you move here. It only gets to be a problem importing a car if you are a Canadian, living in Canada, and you go to the States to buy a car just to bring it back. Since that is not you, don't worry.
