At purchased a car 2 years a go. I still owe $15,000.00. My payments are too much for me know. I was living with my mother in law, and I had a job that paid me more money. Know I'm ON MY OWN! And I switched jobs, and my car payments are KILLER!! Please help! What options do I have to get rid of these payments, if I sell it, i wont get what I owe. If I trade it in my payments will be the same. I LOVE MY CAR =( I just need a roof over my head more.

I am looking at a 2002 Honda CR-V EX w/94,595 miles, being offered @ $13,495; given a trade in of roughly $2,500, what is the most reasonable price i can give the dealer? Is $8,000-$10,000 too low?

Does the car price vary between different states? If it make sense, I would like to buy a car in California and take it to Utah where I live. As Utah does not have much dealer network available for Toyota, buying a car in CA (due to many dealers compettion) will be cheaper than Utah?

I want to buy a reliable used car. In the price range I'm looking at (no more than $8000) some of the cars have a somewhat high mileage (already 100K miles or more). Soooo, the reason I'm asking about "lifespans" is to know how long I can expect each to last....

Parents think I should buy a brand new Kia- rather than a Toyota Matrix (2004) with 60k miles on it. I'm sooo confused. I really need some opinions.

I am interested in purchasing a 1997 Canry, however, the owner said that the title is "reconditioned." What does that mean and should that be something I should stay away from? Please advise.

I know this sounds insane, but i need info on whether i can buy a car with no credit. I have $4,000 for the down payment and i have estimated the monthly payments for the car which comes around $300 monthly. I estimated the APR to be 10% as well but is this even possible, and yes i will be able to pay off the car monthly and the insurance (which i estimate to be $400). I will have a job that will still leave me with $200 left over. Any clue if i can do this or have to be cosigned?

I have an 06 Hyundai Sonata in excellent condition and I'm in my senior year in college. I don't "need" a car right now because I'm not gonna have a job for the rest of the school year, but I'm going to start working again (or at least start looking for a full time job) as soon as I graduate in june, and I will most likely need a car again then. Would it be smart to sell my car now and think about getting another one in June, just to save insurance money which is kinda high? or Should I just hold on to it for the next few months and avoid the hastle of looking for a new car after I graduate...What would you do if you were in my shoes?

P.S. It is very likely that I relocate to another state after I graduate, I live in Ohio and I could find a job in Oregon for example so I'd have to sell my car anyway...Sorry for the long details and thanks for any imput...Merry Christmas to you all!

My nephew has an '07 318 series that he leased for 36 months, with a 30,000 mile cap. He has had it 9 months, and it has 21,000 miles. Is it possible for him to maybe go from the lease he is in, to BUY a BMW from the same dealership without getting the lease break fee? Will they still kill him for the miles he has on it so far?
