My main concern is getting the most miles per gal I can (I drive about 140 miles a day) but I also have 3 kids (3, 6 &12) and a tall wife (6' 3") with long legs. Cost is also a factor. What car should I be looking at?

What is the etiquette for letting someone test drive your car when you are selling it? I am selling my car by myself and someone is going to look at it. Should I let them test drive the car by themselves or is it ok if I ask to sit in with them? It seems a bit weird, but I'm going to be there only by myself. What should I do?

We bought a canyon gmc 2007 (new) with a 4 cylinder gas tank and our price was 21,000 after 1,000 rebate after the dmv chrages and other stuff it came down to 22,000. but since his credit is really bad his interest rate was 16 % so it all came to the final price 33,000 dollars! what so you think was this good for his background and credit or bad!!! also we worked on paying 470 dollars a month!! wow but what do you think! i need experience advice please!

I am thinking about trading in my 2003 Honda Element and leasing a new vehicle (make unknown) - I owe less than 1k on the Honda. Blue Book Value is around 9-13 K. Say the dealer is willing to give 10k. What happens to the excess cash if I am leasing a new vehicle from that dealer.

Obviously the dealer will pay 1k to get the title for the Honda, I am going allow for 2.5k for down payment, tax, title, etc for the new lease. What happens to the remaining 6.5K? Does the dealer cut a check?

If you were going to negotiate this lease not planning to buy at the end of the term what be the best plan of attack for negotiating the lowest monthly payment.

Is it a glitch? The default for my eclipse gsx is single cd and I forgot to uncheck it and choose mp3 cd and I noticed my value actually decreased about $100 bucks... I retried again several times and the prices just stay the same. It definately decreases when I choose mp3 cd instead of regular cd.

I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan in which I'm planning on selling. The problem is, would anybody really be interested? It is in excellent condition and it rides very smoothly. It has 135,000 miles on it though. Will this turn a lot of people away, even though it's in excellent condition and also has aswome gas mileage? (24 mpg city!)

Or wait to see 2008 Accord? I can buy a new car up to $25,000 - or. . . a 2001 Lexus LS430. I'm 27 years old and seen alot of old ladies driving the 2007 Camry and I'm afraid the car is being associated with old woman.

What matters a lot to me is the actual cost of the vehicle, fuel economy, space for hauling camping or sports equipment (like cross country skiis) around, and how well the car will perform in it's lifespan. Is the Civic a far better car than the Yaris and worth the $3000 - $4000 more than the Yaris? Or is the Yaris as reliable as the Civic?

We are thinking of buying a used vehicle. Maybe a BMW or Lexus?? Something probably 3 to 6 years old depending on what we can do in price. I have heard you have to get special maintenance on these "previously" expensive vehicles. Can anyone tell me about that? What about repairs.. is it even worth it? We want some of the little luxuries from one of these used vehicles but I don't want to spend $100 for an oil change on a $15,000 car.

My wife and I are separated but we do not have a "legal" separation nor have we filed for divorce. I was approved for and given a loan to purchase a car. My wife was not notified of this. The dealership knew I was married and still went ahead with the loan. Is this loan legal?

What kind of car would you buy if you had no more than about $25,000 to spend on a vehicle? This includes a truck or an SUV. Anyone have a car that they just bought that they really like? Lemme know. Thanks.

My friend just bought a new car (May 9,2007), but he found that the car was manufactured in 2006 Dec. Also, the miles are 120. Do you think there is some thing wrong? How can he go back to deal with the dealer?
