Camry? Join the Billions that are already out there. Honestly, if you go out into a parking lot, how will you find which one is yours? I've heard several recent Camry owners claiming the quality has gone down hill. Check it out at carsurvey.org
Accord? Excellent car, just not very fun.
Altima? Very attractive looking. Don't know much else.
If I may, let me add one to your list. The Ford Fusion. Yes, a Ford. Ford has actually built a very good car in the Fusion.
Consumer Reports gave it their top recommended Buy recommendation. It also scored the top rating in safety and predicted reliability.
I've had mine for a month now and have yet to find even 1 tiny flaw.
Car & Driver also conducted two tests between the Fusion, the Camry and the Accord with a bunch of it's subscribers. The test drivers picked the Fusion as their favorite over the others.
Give an American car a chance. Take a test drive. Yes, it's assembled in Mexico, but the profits, and the high end jobs like designers and engineers are American.

Don't get me started on the demographics associated with the Camry. The Altima is a sharp handler and quicker, the Accord is more refined than the Altima and more fun than Camry. All three are good, reliable cars. I'd be inclined to wait for the 08 Accord though. It will likely have fewer comprimises overall than the other two. Look for it in late August.

I was going to say Camry, based on reliability and Toyota's reputation. But on second thought, I, too, dislike the looks of the new 2007 Camry. Maybe the Nissan Altima would be a better choice, stylistically speaking. Whichever car you choose, happy driving!

Altima has had many problems such as recalls, etc. Camry is the way to go. They resell for alot more money, and they are very dependable and reliable. You can always put some nice rims on it. I'm not an old lady and i have 2 camry's and have had no problems with them in the last 4 years.

Wait for the 2008 Honda Accord!, I plan to trade in my TL in on one. Great looking and finally breaks out of the conservative mode. The New Nissan looks quite nice, I test drove a 2006 SE-R, before I bought my Acura TL, nice ride! Yes the Toyota is a little boring in my book, but I am sure a solid car.

They're all good. But the Nissan has a timing "chain", the others a timing "belt". The belt'll need replacement at about 60-70000 miles. Also, ask your agent what each costs to insure. If you're a bit flush, and young, or young at heart, go for the styling you like. You'll be prouder of the car and thus happier. Enjoy your new ride.

before you buy, at least try out a ford fusion. for more info, check here... www.fusionchallenge.com
great little car, nicely equipped for about 20k, and then take the extra money and invest it. nice handling, sporty feeling, go for at least the SE model (available in S, SE, and SEL) and check into the AWD model as well. you won't be sorry!
