I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan in which I'm planning on selling. The problem is, would anybody really be interested? It is in excellent condition and it rides very smoothly. It has 135,000 miles on it though. Will this turn a lot of people away, even though it's in excellent condition and also has aswome gas mileage? (24 mpg city!)

I'm sure there are lots of people interested if the price is right.

Just use caution when selling a car.
1. Make sure you get cash only. If you accept a cashier's check, make sure it's from a local bank. Do not accept cashier's checks from foreign banks! They could be fake, and my advice is to not accept personal checks.

2. Verify the cash. make sure the strip that is visible when you hold the bill up the the light exists, and other anti-counterfeiting items exist on the bills.

3. Make sure you get a copy of the driver's license (and address of the buyer).

4. After signing everything over, make sure you make a duplicate copy of the bill of sale signed by both you and the buyer, and keep it!

5. Make sure you file paper work with the DMV that you've sold the car so it limits your liability in case the guy does something stupid and gets into an accident and doesn't register the car in their name.

It all depends on your asking price. An educated guess of the value would be $3000 to $4000
