I am thinking of buying a new RL. Does anyone out there own one? What do you think? Also on my short list is the Infiniti M45 and Lexus GS 350. Anyone have experience with those rides? I appreciate your help as I contemplate pulling the 50K trigger. Thanks.

I'm looking for a cheap (<£1000) middle weight (1.3-1.6L) hatchback, with reasonable condition bodywork.

Any ideas?

I am thinking of buying a new car in the next year or two (because it looks like repairs will soon cost more than the trade in value of my car). Because I hope to have a condo by then, I don't want to have both a mortgage and a car loan.

I would be able to pay for the car without taking out a loan, but I have several questions:

1.Is there any reason this would not be a good idea?

2. Would they need to do a credit check still, or special background checks?

3. Would it be better to just put a large downpayment and get
a smaller loan (which I could try to pay off sooner)?

Of course I would make sure to have enough for emergencies afterwards.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Two months after purchase, I have found out that the car was previously considered a total loss by the insurers but this was not disclosed to me during the sale, even though I asked the buyer if he was aware of any accident history.

I'm not happy as I would never have bought it had I known this fact. Stupidly I didn't have an HPI check done at the time but do I have any legal recourse?

I have a 2005 automobile and pay approx. $475.00/month on this car. I am finding myself going backwards. I have put too much money in the car to go to CarMax, or a place and sell it because they will not offer me a lot. I would love to sell it at a resonable price. CapitalOne does not refiance, so I cant get lower payments... What do I do? How do I do it? Where do I do it? Could I trade it? I need advice bad!

Ok, here's the deal. I’m about to go to boot camp with the marines in June. I have like 3k to spend and I have an interest in older cars. so here comes the problem, I want a car that I could have fun to work on and to be a car I can somewhat easily fix up myself cause I’m not as skill yet and cause I don’t have much time in the corp to do so. So what do you think is the best car to start with?

I have a 2006 financed vehicle and want to trade it and possibly lease....problem is..I hae negative equity..and quite a bit of it.(7-8k) I change my mind SO often when it comes to cars, thats my problem! So i figure a lease would be a good idea. How much negative equity can I move over to a lease on say a 30,000.00 vehicle-vs. what I would need to put down?

I recently got a new vehicle, and I had to sell my old one. There was a guy at work who really needed a vehicle, but couldn't pay me until later this month. Being the nice guy I am, I decided to help him out. We agreed on $700 (based on the vehicle, this is a VERY fair price). I signed the title to him in good faith; I've worked with him for a very long time and he was a good guy. However, now he's been fired and I haven't heard from him since...and he isn't returning my phone calls. Am I completely screwed, or do I have legal recourse?
