The typical mark up on a new truck is around 7%

I find it amazing that people are so worried about the mark up percentage and the invoice price. Do you care that you pay 200-300% mark up for clothes, 175% mark up for furniture, over 300% mark up for jewelry? So why do people gripe so much about 7% on a car? It simply makes no sense.
