My car is rapidly dying and I need one for work.

I'm 20 and don't have much of a credit history, but do currently have 3 credit services reporting to the bureaus and in good standing.

I have a job that pays me about $2000 a month, but I just started the job.

Do I have a chance of getting a small car loan for a used vehicle?

My boyfriend is interested in buying a car in Germany as he is about to be based there with the army.
The cars are a hell of a lot cheaper there. We understand that they are left hand drive but thats fine and are looking at buying one a couple of years old.
Does anyone know what fees/taxes are involved in bringing a German car to the UK??
Pros/Cons will be most useful.
Thank you

I'm currently looking for a used car for around $5000, automatic, reasonable fuel mileage, and decently reliable one.
As for vehicle type I prefer a 4 door or a compact suv. I'm going to keep it as is, meaning no crazy tune-ups or adding a body kit or stuffs like that.
Like most people, the name toyota and honda crossed my mind at first, but lately I'm considering other brands as there are others like mazda, nissan or mitsubishi with similar quality for less cash, but I'm not exactly sure just how reliable they are. Are there any brands (make and model) you'd recommend?
Any advices are very appreciated
thanks

I was in an accident where the front side of my Acura Integra was hit. The car runs fine. Of course the alignment is off. My insurance is offering a total loss for this vehicle. I found a decent place to fix this up. If I go with the buy back I would have a few extra $$ in my pocket. My question is should I buy something for their offer of 4k or buy back my Acura and just run it into the ground. I recently spent 3k fixing with new wheels, struts tune up etc. Please advise.

I see a man, selling an old Ford Bronco-I don't know what year it is. It has a new engine & a new alternator, & it's $3,200 that he's selling it for. He's selling it personally off the street. Does this sound like a good deal? Do you think I might get scammed, since it's being sold off the street from the owner himself? I'm scared because of a bad scam experience I had.

I need a vehicle, though, & I need something with a lot of room, like this truck so I can travel with. I've been moving around a lot because of certain extenuating circumstances. Or am I better off going to a used car dealership? Hell! I was scammed by a regular car dealership with buying my 1st car that was BRAND new. I was threatened into financing a car that I wanted to pay out, & now I don't have a car anymore.

I was in a bind a few months back & had to buy a car from a buy here, pay here place (my credit is not good & was unable to get a regular loan, it was the only place that would approve me, and I couldn't get a co-signer, either) ... bad thing is, it's a 24.99% interest rate, and the payments are $160 every two weeks ... I am struggling to feed my son and I, and pay our bills to keep our apartment, and was thinking about relinquishing the car (the payoff is more than the car is worth because of the interest) and just buying a cheap, reliable used car outright for under $1000 ... any ideas or suggestions? Anyone have this kind of problem and come up with a different solution? Or have an idea of how to get a good, cheap used car? Thanks!!!

My friend just bought a new car (May 1, 2007) and found that the manufactured date of the new car is Dec 10, 2006. He just wonders why the car stayed in the dealer for so long time. Also, the mileage of the new car was 50 miles when he got the new car. Is there some thing wrong with his new car?

Some people say why are you crying about it some countries pay much more like Japan or Tokyo. All I can say is I don’t give a dam what they pay I am talking about the good old U S A . So what if Japan pays more for gas they make billions of the USA each year we buy there steal there cars. Hondas may be made in the u.s but the cash goes back home to Japan.

I've bought a car from garage. I realised some fault before I paid the money, but was assured it was on because of the oil change and it would go away in a moment (wich has never happened) I took car back to the garage for repairs. Garage took car to the main dealer and told me it could take couple more days to road test a car. It was 10 days ago. Garage is 150 miles away and I've got to take day off to go there and back. The bloke I usualy speak to always keep promising what never happens. Also I was told that I won't get any refund.

I'm looking for a small SUV with all wheel drive. I'm a 19 year old college student, so I don't need one for a family or anything. Also, I would rather have something that tends to be more girl-ish, than guy-ish, if that makes sense. It's not a must though. I really know nothing about cars, so any info you can give would really help me out! Thanks!

Used cars are terribly overpriced now and new cars almost impossible to get if your credit is not excellent.
