ARGH! Trust you - NOT!

It will do nothing. You mark my words. If this gas protest actually makes a substantial dent in sales on the 15th, gas prices will suddenly rise a dime on the 16th, to screw those idiots who decided they could stretch it out one more day past the 15th. The evil oil companies will end up turning this thing into a profitable event.

In reality, it will do nothing. Even if NOBODY bought gas on the 15th, that means the gas companies will score record sales on the 14th and 16th. In the end, the exact same amount of gas will be sold that week, and nothing will change.

If you actually want to stick to the Saudis and Exxon, STOP USING GAS. Organize a day where no one uses gas, except taking public transportation or car pooling. That actually would work, especially if done on a recurring basis, as that would increase supplies and thus reduce costs.

It won't work, the oil companys have a profit that is unbelievable. If you don't buy gas may 15, they will definetly see a profit may 16, 17.

It will show a dip for that ONE day the 15th which will send a message.

No, it won't lower the AMOUNT of weekly/monthly gas unless you drive less, ride a bike ot take a bus.

But if the gas stations didn't have any customers on May 15th, well.. read my blog on www.myspace.com/club562 for more info!

Yeah right.... and I have a bridge in NYC to sell you... this never works... it just hurts the local gas merchant... big oil companies would not even notice !!!
