I bought a 06 Black car from a popular car dealership. I paid for the car on a Friday and went back to pick it up the next day. The detail shop at the dealership burned the paint off on the back driverside panel around the antenna and the gas door. The dealership used a body shop near them to fix the paint a couple of weeks later. When I went to pick the car back up after they had it fixed for me, it was worse. The paint does not match(too much clear or the wrong color, it's very hazy.),fish eyes, overspray on the roof and bottom panel, they dropped something on my back bumper and took paint off, and my wheel was curbed. They want to send the car back to the same shop to get it fixed. I want it to go somewhere else! Nobody will call me back and when I call they're always in a meeting. I have spoke with so many different people at the dealership and they all say that they have to disscuss it with someone else. The estimate of the damage is about $1200. how do i get them to pay?

What can I do if I bought a truck somewhere and the something went wrong with the brakes right after I bought it and there is nothing they can do to fix it. I believe they said it was something to do with the abs system. It is a certified used vehicle from ford. They are supposed to check these things before they sell them right? What can I do to prove they sold me a faulty vehicle to begin with and well constitute a fraud.

Bought a '99 Ford Explorer Sport from the dealer in Nov '05, so i've had it 18mos now and they're offering to buy it back. If i still owe on it (which i do), they'll pay off whatever I owe and start on a clean slate w/ a new (i mean new to me, not necessarily brand new) car with no downpayment needed. I still have 28mos left to pay off my current car. I have above average credit but less than 3yrs of credit history. Is it better to just pay off my current car or is this trade-in deal they're offering worth going through with it?

Here is my problem. The dealer is in Ohio and has 100% positive feedback. I also bought my mom's car from them 9 months later. Anyway I pulled the carfax on the car before I bought it and discovered it had been in 2 wrecks. Nothing on the carfax said anything about major damage. The dealer claimed the car had been fixed and was in great condition. I also used CarChex to drive the car and inspect it. The CarChex report came back that the car was in great condition. I bought it and have had it for 11 months. I was going to sell it for something newer so I took it to Carmax to get appraised. WOW, this is the problem. They put it on a rack and noticed the frame had major damage and had been repaired. They also ran a AutoCheck report on it and it stated it was sold as a frame damaged car at the auto auction the dealer bought it from. Lemon Law on covers new cars so does anyone have any advice that want break me? Frame Damage was not disclosed but I have proof they knew!

The basics: I can't complete my California smog check due to my ASR button not working. I don't really need the car and I don't want to continue paying for it (just moved and public transportation is fantastic) but how can I get rid of it without making the improvements? I also have a few payments left.

Question: Do I seek out people in car clubs (it's a 2001 Volkswagen), post an ad on Craigslist, or suck it up and pay to have the car fixed and registered?

so i bought this car in CALIFORNIA and i thought it said SALVAGE on the title but I'm not sure, so when i registered it under my name last week, the ARIZONA title does not indicate salvage.... or at least i don't know where to look, but the paper (title) looks just like my other car's title which should not be salvage.

so how can i tell?

I'm trying to sell a car to a friend of mine, but I can't find the pink slip. I was told I can't transfer the title without the actual pink slip. My friend needs the car as soon as possible. Is there a way to transfer the title without waiting to receive the duplicate?

I have a car I want to sell for $17,000 that I owe $12,000 on. When the buyer pays you usually go to the notary and transfer the title, but I do not have the title, the bank does. How do you transfer ownership in this instance?

I'm looking around for cars and I found this one. It's a 94 Buick Bonneville SSE, power EVERYTHING, 3.8 litre. I'm wondering if anyone has had one of these and if they have if they're good cars? It's fairly inexpensive and I'm just curious as to whether it's worth the price. $1,400. It has a moon roof and what not and I would like for someone to tell me if I should buy it or not. Thanks.

I have been offered a 2001 car which was a Cat D write off but has been professionally repaired, inspected and MOT'd. It is from a car dealer that I have known for years and is a bargain at £2,500 when the book price is around £6,500. Can anybody honestly tell me whether it is worth buying a previously written off car. Are there any problems that I could encounter. Can you be refused insurance or charged extortionate premium? I know the car wont be of the normal value if I wanted to sell it on, but I am looking to run it into the ground as I do with all my cars. Has anyone bought a written off car and had problems with it? Any honest advice would be appreciated.

How much should I try to lower the price on a used 2003 Acura 3.2TL TypeS? And do I have to pay sales tax on the purchase? What if the seller insists that I pay the tax, does that mean he's not being honest with me?

Is Lincoln Navigator so hot? one of the Best selling cars?

I try to buy a new one. some dealers won't give me discounts or as little as $500 over MSRP. MSRP is $58455!!!
not $3000 or $4000?
Do you think this dealer guy tries to rip me off? Am I a dumb cash machine? I love you man!! I will give you what you want!!

2007 Lincoln Navigator 4X4 L!!!!

I like to buy 2007 Lincoln Navigator 4X4 L with options.

I caculated MSRP at Lincoln home page; $58,455.00

I will pay $53,000.00 cash!! for the car. or maybe $54,450.00

I do not know how much I should spend for it.

I do not give a **** about Market Ajustment or any dealer costs. Is it legal? If it is legal, then what the "F" MSRP stands for? I am sorry using F word. I was kind of upset.

I mean truly Lincoln Navigator is so hot in the market, Ford is doing great in business? I thought Ford is having a hard time to sell cars. a lot of cash backs from Ford to dealers, no?

I must sell a 1999 BMW M3 convertible ASAP because I can not afford the payment. I have to get at least 14,000 for it and I will be taking a loss. It has lots of auto upgrades, rims, etc. It needs some work on the top and the seats need to be touched up. What is the best way to sell this car and get rid of it... I tried ebay and got only a bid up to 9000. I can't take a loss that big. It is on a credit card. Can you please give me some advice to get rid of it fast before I can't pay my bills and ruin my credit? Do dealers take cars in with out a trade? How does Car Max work? Thank You

I've been trying to decide what kind of car to get and want some suggestions. I want something that's sporty, classy, reliable, and safe. Also, average mpg greater than 20 would be best. I'll be trading in a 1998 BMW 528i and want a similar car. Would like to keep the price below $30,000 (after taxes and the such). I've been looking at the following:

2004ish Infiniti G35 Sedan
2004 BMW 525i
2004 Acura TL
2004 Audi A6 or A4

2004 isn't the only year I will consider, but I was just thinking about these. Any comments on these choices or suggestions of others?
