Here is my problem. The dealer is in Ohio and has 100% positive feedback. I also bought my mom's car from them 9 months later. Anyway I pulled the carfax on the car before I bought it and discovered it had been in 2 wrecks. Nothing on the carfax said anything about major damage. The dealer claimed the car had been fixed and was in great condition. I also used CarChex to drive the car and inspect it. The CarChex report came back that the car was in great condition. I bought it and have had it for 11 months. I was going to sell it for something newer so I took it to Carmax to get appraised. WOW, this is the problem. They put it on a rack and noticed the frame had major damage and had been repaired. They also ran a AutoCheck report on it and it stated it was sold as a frame damaged car at the auto auction the dealer bought it from. Lemon Law on covers new cars so does anyone have any advice that want break me? Frame Damage was not disclosed but I have proof they knew!

You bought a car that you knew had been damaged and repaired!! The dealer "claimed the car had been fixed and was in great condition". CarChex said the car was in good condition.

The dealer disclosed that the vehicle had previous damage. He did nothing wrong. You bought the car knowing that there was previous damage and now are upset because it had previous damage? You do not have a mechanical issue with the vehicle. The only problem is Carmax said the vehicle was worth less because it had the prior damage (which you knew about).

Why are you trying to blame someone else? You bought a car. The dealer disclosed damage. The car is not having a problem.

Sorry but you were not taken advantage of. The dealer is not at fault!!

File a complaint with your states attorney general and with Carfax for deceptive bussiness practices.
Also try state consummer affairs office maybe the US DOT on frame job.

alot of cars are showing up from the flooded and tornada ally states

Good Luck

i own a shop and i have been trying to tell people on here that car fax is not an accurate report, this is good proof of that ,but you may not have nothing to fall back on,because of the time limit on this one,had you seen it a lot earlier ,you might could have gotten something done about it,not all accidents are added to the car-fax history reports, and yours is a good example, one good piece of advice, never buy anything without seeing it and driving it your self, you basically got took advantage of on this one, don't ever buy anything without looking it over for your self, and then having it checked out by a mechanic while your with him, sorry you got took but don't feel bad, while i have been typing this ,probably ten more people got took also,it happens that often, good luck hope this helps.
