It should say it in the body of the title where the vehicle discription goes. Some states do not put salvage on out of state titles. In the industry it is called title washing. You could run a car fax or auto check on the car to be sure. In many states it is not legal to sell a salvage title car to the public. I do not recall if California or Arizona are those states. If you call Arizona title bureau they can tell you how a salvage title is listed.

RE:
ARIZONA: how can i tell if a car has a SALVAGE TITLE if it does not say it on the title itself?
so i bought this car in CALIFORNIA and i thought it said SALVAGE on the title but I'm not sure, so when i registered it under my name last week, the ARIZONA title does not indicate salvage.... or at least i don't know where to look, but the paper (title) looks just like my other car's...

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOhPb
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

The "salvage title" just means that the vehicle has been repaired after major damage. That is to inform any new owner of this fact. When you sell this vehicle, it may cause you to get less cash or trade-in for it, but otherwise it is nothing for you to worry about. Register it in your own county or community and drive it!

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.
