but my credit isn't great. (Intrerest rate 12.99) Would've been higher had I bought a used car. (But I got hit by a drunk driver and my last car got totalled out, so this was my only option was to buy this car--the one currently driving and hate, at the time, because I could get it from the same dealer w/ no money down. So my question is this.
Can I trade my current car in and lets just say I owe 11,000 on it let's say I get .........$7,000.................trade in value and then get a new car for say $13,000 does that only leave me owing the remaining balance, say $6,000 for a newer and better car then the one I originally bought? Or does it not work that way? Do I still owe the entire $13,000. Please help.

I am about to buy 07 Navigator 4X4 Ultimate this month.

1. I will bring it to South Korea!! I am not a dealer or to sell it to someone. Do I have to pay sale's tax eventhough I do not drive the car?

2. I found two prices from Yahoo. One is MSRP$50,655 & the other is Invoice price$46,699 . it's about $4000 different.!!

Which one is real? All I want is a truth!

Seattle, I am thinking to fly, but better places to buy 07 Naviagator?

I'm a college student about to buy her first car. I was looking at a 2001 Eclipse, but lately I've heard from a friend that they were a money-pit. I wont have the resources to spend loads of money on mechanics, and I dont know a THING about cars. So I'm wondering if a 2001 Eclipse will make me go broke?!

I am planning on buying a 2001 Chrysler Sebring from a small, but luxury car dealer in the city. (Not too small, i'd say mid-sized that typically deal in Audi, Jaguars, and most of their inventory is over $30,000 though I know this does not mean much.

The car has around 50,000 miles.

I am planning on buying this Sebring from them for around $11,000. They offer a warranty that is through some cheap sounding warranty company "Preferred Warranties INC" or something, but it is expensive and I only have a maximum amount I can afford right now but REALLY Want this car and there arent any others like this around in inventories.. (Sales tax is EXPENSIVE adding up to almost 1000+ here, and the car total would be about $14,500 or something after sales tax and warranty if I did get the warranty)

Do I REALLY Need the warranty, and if worst comes to worst down the road what is the most i'd be paying to fix the car? ($3000 for a new engine, $1600 for transmission?)

I have to choose between a 2007 Chevy Aveo (spring options package. Maui blue, Sun roof, 15' Wheels...) and a 2006 Kia Spectra. The Kia has more options but the reviews seem better on the Aveo. Anybody have either of these? Any problems. I am leaning toward the Aveo but I think it's because I like the color. The kia is white. Thanks for any help you can give.

(the price range for the two is about the same)

I know I just sign the title over and make up an "as-is" statement to sign, but what about the plates? Do I take the plates? And what about the fact that it is registered in my name? This is the first time I've sold a car privately.

They tend to sell these foreign cars at what I think would be high mileage like a camry at 100K miles and a kind of high price. I know these cars go pretty high mileage but how high is too high. Or the throw away age.

She is the co-signer on the lease and loan. The other people have stopped making the payments. The lease ends in July '08. The car is just being stored. Does anyone agree that she should stop making the payments and let the car be repossessed? She doesn't need a good credit rating at 82 years old. Would she incur any fees after repossessing took place?

I have no one to co-sign for me because the only people that I've considered have bad credit. I saved up $8,000 and have good credit. Will I be able to buy a car on my own or will I still need a co-signer? Thank you.
