Im looking at the Yaris, XA, and Fit.

I would get the Yaris because it is the most fuel efficient gasoline vehicle. Just remember to get the optional side airbags with the car.

Fit is neither cheap nor fuel efficient - 35 mpg hwy, 23-25 city is insane for this size, and I've been closely monitoring one for over a year now. It's worse than my '98 Civic with over 200K! On top of that, it costs more than it should with the sport edition being more expensive than a Civic LX.
XA is cheaper - $13,500 with stick, and has better gas mileage - even my mother-in-law gets up to 37 mph :)

Try a maxda 3, The Yaris is a little bigger that the other 2, has more interior room.

i would go with the yaris. It's nice and get alot of miles.
