I am going to buy new Lincoln Navigator . I have talked with this dealer guy by email. I am far away from the dealership now. I am about to buy, however, the guy told me, "wire all money before I arrive the dealership" I am thinking just $1000 first, and then I wire after I get to the dealership to see the car and to meet the guy. I have some fear that I might lose all money if I wire all amount. I believe that $1000 can hold a car waiting for me?

Also, he told me he will bring the car from sister's shop after he receives all money. I feel even though he is an imployee of one dealership, he does private extra money job with company phone and computer.

For me, I do not care he makes money for himself or not, but just do not want to wire all money before I meet him person to person.

What do you think about this? I need your warm advice.

thank you for your time and lovely thoughts.

some time in the next year im planning on getting a new sports car. Im 18, so its kinda crucial to me. the problem is that they are about the same price, its just the porsche is more of a "class" car and the lotus is a pure sporty car just for plain speed and performance. they also have the dilemmas of the warranty, insurance, convenience, resale value, and so on. also im concerned if the elise will change its body(im not a giant fan of the hood). can someone please give me some pointers?(from what i hear people say, they'd rather have me get the cayman, but its just common here in california)

I purchased a car from a friend - he's making the payments to the finance company, i'm making the payments to him. I was 20 days late on my payment - what are my rights in his repossessing the car?

I was just wondering if I could buy a car that's under my wife's name. She hasn't legally changed her last name to mine yet. I was just curious if something like that is legal in California and can be done.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I signed a paper and left a deposit for a new car. They said they would have it to me in a few days. It's been over a week and I still have no car and they tell me they can't find a car for me and are offering me cars I don't want and are more expensive. Can I get my deposit back and should I go to a different dealer? If not, what else can they do?

I bought a car from a used car dealer. It was towed one day and when I went to go get they said it was not legally mine. I called to the DMV and they said that four transactions had been attempted to get the title. The dealership wasnt even the lean holder it was still in the previous owner name. An officer said they were breaking all kinds of laws. When I went to trade it in two weeks earlier the owner wanted my car repossed. I want to know if I can take them to small claims court to get reimbursed of all my monies??!!

I receive SSI & Social Security & make only $643/month total. Also, my credit is very poor, & I have a repossession on my credit.

Why do dealers say Bad Credit & Bankruptcy is OK, as long as you have steady income, & then they run a credit check on you & say you don't qualify for getting a car? Isn't this contradictory?

Is this a good idea? If so, can I make the trade and get $2,000 back (since the Auidi would be worth more, in my opinion). I live in Richmond, Virginia by the way....the salesman told me the Fit is selling for about 16500...

This car is for her but she since she has bankrupcy on her record, I have to co-sign for her and be the primary buyer. The bank was willing to let her name be secondary since I have a good fico score. Can I take my name off the loan after a short period to have her as the only name on the loan? I think it's always better to have only one name on the contract, since you never know what will happen.

I have a 17.5% car loan and the pay off amount is $13,538
Orig loan amount $16,739.
The car may be worth $7,000 at the most.
5 year loan that I am three years into.
I will be coming into some big money soon and I was wondering if I can negotiate with the car finance company
or will I have to pay the full pay off amount: $13,538?

I'm not looking for anything super expensive just a sharp looking car with a great deal on it. It would be nice if someone could tell me which dealers have the best financing deal too and the best warranty.

I just got this car about 3 weeks ago. The center console is broken, glove compartment is not its original one, the engine light when on and there is no source of power coming into the car for my stereo to work. They said they would fix the electrical and the check engine light (what ever is making it go off). Yesterday i went so they could give me a loner and so they could fix my car. The loner wouldnt turn on (who ever drove it last left it in reverse), there was no gas, when i went back to say there was no gas he gave me his credit card so I could get the gas. On my way to the gas station it made this horrible sound (like one of the timing belts was dry) and the break was horrible. I had to put my foot all the way in for it to really break. Im paying 17 grand for this car its a nissan sentra 2003. Im just not satisfied. Is there anything i can do ??

Enzo Ferrari= Literally over $1,000,000

IT'S JUST A CAR!
1. It's not an aircraft.
2. It doesn't fly.
3. It doesn't have a turbothrusters that jet it to 300+ MPH,
4. It doesn't come with a supercomputer.
5. It doesn't have 24 karat gold in it.
6. It's no more reliable than any other exotic sports car with it's fair share of problems.
7. The maintenace costs would be untra expensive.

I don't think it's worth the price.

I think a car should be no more expensive than $250,000 like the Ferrari Modena when it was new. I think that's the very most expensive a car can possibly be worth.

I'm a first time SUV buyer and looking into the 2008 Mazda Tribute or Ford Escape (yes, I realize these are basically the same vehicle), but I'm finding a lot of mixed responses on reliability. Are these good vehicles? Reliable? Is there anything in the same price range that would be a better choice?
I need something that's going to last me 5-10 years. How realistic is this? What about Hyundai or Kia's SUV's? Are these better than Ford or Mazda. I would GREATLY appreciate any information on this!

my dad works in a med office, he pretty much is the main doc boss the only people higher than him is the guy that owns the building. everybody in that office drives nice cars even the damn receptionist girls. in their driveway you see every car is either a BMW, or mercedes benz, and one lexus and one honda accord (my dads). i went to visit dad at work yesterday and i see a lady from the building going outside saying someone parked their honda in a private parking spot and wanted to get it towed. she didn't know my dad drove it everyone there thinks my dad drives a benz S class or something. when they found out it was my dad's they were shocked. why doesn't my dad want to buy a more expensive car? it kind of makes him look worse with a honda if he is the boss that people lower than him drive a better car. should he buy a benz or something to look better in front of his workers or what?
