OK I have about $5,000 negative equity on my truck... I found a PERFECT 2005 Hyundai TIBURON GT, 11,000 miles for $10,000... the reason why it was priced so cheaply is because the dealership purchased the vehicle from an auction by an insurance company. Apparently, the car was a stolen vehicle that was found after the insured person was paid therefore the car was salvaged... My question is, will I be able to get a loan for the amount of what the car should be worth $19,000 to eat up my negative equity I have on my truck? Will they even give loans on salvaged titles?

Assuming a 5K down payment and good credit? Car would be Lexus IS250, Infiniti g35 or g37, or BMW 328. Person has no other expenses, no rent, nothing.

I want to trade-in my car for a new one. My car is worth about 4k
but I still owe about 8k on it. I want to purchase a vehicle that is worth about 22k. I need a loan for about 5k so I won't be upside down. Does anyone know of a place that actually approves bad credit?

Thanks

bought a 1996 saturn sc. paying 300 a month for it. it is because of a program with the dealership for people with bad credit. (mines is horrible) the deal is that I keep my payments on time for 18 months, go back to dealership with improved credit, get a newer, nicer car with lower payments. the problem is is that it is getting harder for me to pay 300 a month (trying to get my own place), AND the dealership has done me wrong in the past when it came to warrantees and guarantees. they were not willing to fix a serious brake problem with the car because it cost too much. even though it was covered. anyway, i want out of this deal. what are my options? i have no idea how the car business works,so i don't have a clue about what i am able to do. nothing? something? please, if someone knows anything, or if you even just have advice...

I know that a lease is better at times than buying. What kind of financial situation is the best for a lease?

I am going to make my first (new) car purchase soon, and I am very excited. I talked with the dealership yesterday (I am going in tomorrow afternoon) and they basically want me to come in and sign papers committing to a car (made 'exactly' to my specifications) that they don't have on the lot yet. I told the sales guy what I wanted in a car and he said that they can get exactly what I want but that they usually have the buyer sign for the car first.

If the car comes exactly, as I want it, that's great, but something doesn't sit right with me to sign for a car that I haven't driven and seen yet. What do you think???

I and my wife own a 2000 Chevy Cavaleir. Car has 110,000 miles on it, but is in really good condition and runs well.

We are wanting to purchase a close to new car. However, we don't have a down payment EXCEPT using our car as a trade in.

Our gross income is $2000/month and we pay $700/month for rent. We would like to get financed but know that our rent payment and our "poor" credit doesn't help our chances.

Do you guys have any advice for me and my wife. We would like to make a purchase rather soon. Any advice on financing or any other options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a lease on a truck. My payments are $350/ a month. My lease will end in February. I can no longer afford this truck.
The residual value when I turn it in is around $17,800. These are the Blue Book values as of now:
Private Party - $22,600 Trade-in $19,965. I called the dealership and that said they would try and work something out but what can I expect? I need something NOW with a low monthly payment. I saw on their website where they have an inexpensive Corolla for lease but that is with the best credit and around $1,500 due at signing which I don't have. Any ideas?

A friend of mine bought a car from japan over the internet which cost him £2000, they had been very good at sending emails until one day he got an email saying they couldn't sell him the car as it had been under water and the bottom was starting to rust, they asked him if he would like another car or a refund, he decided to take a refund however he has not heard back from them and this has been two weeks now.....do you know of a way to get the money back??? the website of the company is http://www.cineaction.co.jp/japanese_used_cars/. Has any one heard of them??

I am going to get a new car soon and the car I am driving now has little things wrong with it (like the back windshield wiper doesn't work properly), but everything major works just fine. Is it worth the cost to take my current car into the dealership to get all the small things fixed before I offer it as a trade in or does it matter that much? When you offer a trade-in, do they do an inspection of your vehicle then and there before determining what they want to offer you or do they just base it off the type of vehicle and mileage? PLEASE offer your advice, especially if you've had experience with trade-ins. Thanks!

checked doesn't qualify as AutoChecked Assured, there's a problem on the title, lien record reported to autocheck, salvage record to autocheck, insurance loss reported to autocheck, corrected title report to autocheck......but since the car is only $3,500 and it's a honda accord LX(1995), 94,000 mileage, is it still worth it to buy this car? please help!
