I wouldn't buy a Honda that has been wrecked, especially it it has a salvage title. Hondas are built real light for economy, and consequently they don't hold up well in accidents. They protect the passengers ok, but the car will never be the same afterwards. My friend got rear-ended in his Honda hatchback at 10mph and after than the hatchback leaked water whenever it rained. Find out what part of the car was damaged. If it was hit in the front, make sure their is still an airbag in it. It might just have an empty steering wheel! If it was hit in the rear or the side, make sure everything fits right, and check for water damage from leaks.

Fair
$3,520

"Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.

Poor
N/A

"Poor" condition means that the vehicle has severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition. The vehicle may have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body. A vehicle with a branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage is considered "poor." A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value. Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of cars in this category varies greatly.

According to Kelly Blue Book, a vehicle with title problems is placed in the "Fair" price range. Since the "Good" range is the amount they are asking, I'd say they want too much for it.
It could be a former totalled out wreck that's been repaired (and who knows how well?), a flood car, or a stolen car with a false title for all you know.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

It's up to you. Check the blue book value and see if it really is a great deal. Just remember, when you get ready to sell the car, the history will follow. Oh, and if you do decide to buy the car, be sure to get a lein release and check with your insurance company to be sure that the car is insurable.

You're paying 3500 for a car that's MORE THAN TEN YEARS OLD? AND IT'S NOT A LUXURY CAR like BMW, BENZ, or whatever?

94000 is pretty low miles for that thing though. Still, unless the interior is spotless and engine / transmission is in excellent shape I'd say you're paying 1000 too much. That's just me though.

3500 for a 12 year old car? Too much
And salvage? No way.
it is an expensive waste of money for a car that is not reliable, nor safe.

it don't sound like too bad of a deal on it,if it looks good and drives real good, and the mileage is indeed right on it ,your probably getting a good deal on it,but look it over real good, before you do decide to buy it,make sure there's no hidden surprises with it,good luck on it,hope this helps.
