I just got this car about 3 weeks ago. The center console is broken, glove compartment is not its original one, the engine light when on and there is no source of power coming into the car for my stereo to work. They said they would fix the electrical and the check engine light (what ever is making it go off). Yesterday i went so they could give me a loner and so they could fix my car. The loner wouldnt turn on (who ever drove it last left it in reverse), there was no gas, when i went back to say there was no gas he gave me his credit card so I could get the gas. On my way to the gas station it made this horrible sound (like one of the timing belts was dry) and the break was horrible. I had to put my foot all the way in for it to really break. Im paying 17 grand for this car its a nissan sentra 2003. Im just not satisfied. Is there anything i can do ??

my first concern is that your are paying 17,000 for a sentra that sells for 16000 brand new in 2007. you own the car, but the bank that is financing you doesnt want a repo on their record either. find out who the bank financing you is, and tell them you dont intend to pay for it. if the paperwork is still in process, you may have a chance to get out of it. the dealer is not going to help you back out the contract. other than that, see how much the dealer is willing to help you with on it. then you eat the difference.

Unfortunately, not really. You own your car and have to live with it. Unless you purchased a warranty with it or there is a grace period in the contract, you are stuck with it. It might have been a good idea to bring it to a mechanic before you bought it.

No. that's not a legally valid foundation for breaking your hire. in case you prefer out, negotiate it with the owner. it is going to cost you some months' hire yet you will not have a regulation fit putting over your head.
