One or the other may sign. I had a similar title when I got my first car.
If it said "and" then both would be required.

In NH our titles say Jane Doe or John Doe but both owners signatures are required in order to sell the vehicle. I would both owners sign, it is better to be safe than sorry. Having both sign if only one is needed will not be a problem.

Check with your DMV to be sure, however, the "or" in most states allows either signature to sell the vehicle. Also, it will pass on in death without having to change the title.

if indeed Jane doe or john doe, all you should need is one signature.
If it were Jane doe AND john doe you would need both signatures.

confident, you are able to sell it with out identify yet you are able to desire to exhibit which you're seling it with out identify. Whoever buys it won't have the means tocontinual it until eventually they get a identify for it. so which you have a confusing time merchandising it or could desire to no longer get as lots for it because of the fact human beings won't choose for to handle the hassel & they could no longer have confidence you very own it so they're taking a danger. So your ultimate guess is to pass to a tag business enterprise with each and every of the information, vin style, coverage etc & they could order a sparkling one for you or touch the DMV

Either or, it doesn't matter, as long as one of the names are on there. Preferrably, the person that had the insurance in their name or whoever paid the taxes on the car.

the word "or" stipulates either signature.
However if the word "or" is not there and it just has both names, then you will need both signatures.
