You have to have auto insurance to purchase a car, and you can't have auto insurance unless you have a license to drive.

No, you do not need a license to buy a car OR get insurance. You just can't drive it until you have both.

My uncle was a quad for over 30 years and owned and insured many cars. He didn't have a license and couldn't get one but that didn't stop him from buying a number of cars or insuring them.

If you're under 18, you may have a problem buying from a dealer as you can't enter into a legally binding contract. But that has nothing to do with having or not having a license.

i might shrink back from paying for any vehicle for a grand total of $650. you are able to sell a vehicle (or something for that count) and specify that that's being offered "AS IS". that's in simple terms a manner for the employer to cover his *** and settle for no duty for something it fairly is misguided with the motor vehicle. You because of the fact the customer are completely to blame for information the condition of the motor vehicle, any defects, and so on... the employer is offering no guarantee, no help, no assure, no longer something. it fairly is all nicely and strong as long as you and your brother particularly understand what you're paying for. i might recommend that earlier you pay for the motor vehicle, take possession, or sign something, which you have a good (no longer one reported by way of the employer) look the motor vehicle over and supply you an elementary opinion of what issues ought to be cutting-edge. that's going to cost you a pair of greenbacks yet would be particularly nicely worth it interior the long-term.

You can buy what ever you want but it will be hard getting your title notarized until you turn 18. The person that notarizes it for you can be held responsible for you and any crimes you commit while you have the car. You will probably have to have it put in your parents name.
