Its been freezing...and this morning my car would not start. The engine sounded like it was about to turn over but never would...Is this the battery or somthing else?

I can either get a Mazda RX-7 with 33,000 miles on it for $19,500 or a Toyota Supra that has 82,000 miles on it for $17,000. I'm probably going to have to buy the Mazda because I keep getting told that 80,000 miles on a car makes it too old. Would the RX-7 be able to achieve around 600hp when modified?

I was involved ia car accident just recently where it was the fault of the other driver. He ran a red light and caused us to crash in the middle of the intersection and flipping my car over. He admitted to running the light. He was cited for the same. Now im not trying to get rich, i just want to be exactly where i was before the crash. Now my car is only 5 monthes old so im surely not going to get what i owe on it. What do i do?

single car accident, no injuries, no prop damage. snow/ice road conditions. police responded-no citations, no report. just towed car and that was it. went to hospital 5 hours later to make sure no traumatic brain injury, blood/urine tests showed .10BAC can the ins co deny my claim because of a few 'post accident' drinks? new york suff cty

With a 302 block, is it possible to get 450 to 500 hp without a supercharger or turbocharger? Of coarse bore it out and stroker kit, bigger cam (of more mods too many to name)

I went to get my car checked out cause the check engine light was on and being a girl, they always seem to take advatage and find 100 things wrong with my car. The told me that something like the evap cylynoid is cracked or leaking and it needs to be replaced cause its near the gas tank... and that one of my O2 sensors needs to be replaced too... among all sorts of other crap for $932 they said needs to be fixed I told them to go ahead and fix the serpentine belt cause I knew that was cracked from way before... Everytime I take it somewhere, they say what the last place said was wrong and I dont know what to belive. So are those things really neccessary or can I wait...
And what is an EVAP system anyways?
For reference I have a 2001 toyota corolla S

My daughter bought a ford focus from southern Ontario and we live in Northern Ontario. I told her to bring it in to get it tested and topped up before the weather got too cold. But instead she got her boyfriend to just pour some pre mixed stuff into the existing antifreeze. I think it should have been done properly. Any comments?

Well my ignition is broke on my 1977 chevy c20 truck, so i have to use a screwdriver to push the metal rod in the steering column to start it.
I was wondering if itd be easier to install a remote starter kit, or a toggle switch and push button to start it.
And whichever you think i should get can i get a link to a cheap, decent one, and instructions on how to do it?
i was thinking just turn the metal rod to the on position and then use the toggle switch to turn on and off the battery power?
help me out please. thanks

Hello i have 03 Mitsubishi Montero and my engine light is ON and i bring it to autozone and they said its the oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1.Pls tell me where i can locate this coz i have 4 sensors there 2 in front and 2 at rear, which is one is bank 2 sensor 1 located is it on FRONT or REAR?PLs thanks.

I was coming out of my work on monday night. There was a car infront of me. Both of us stopped on the intersection. And on the intersection my car touched here rear bumper. It was not a big collision (it was not even a collision.)

So I came out of the car and asked her if she was okay. She was fine, so was I. I checked my car , nothing was wrong and there was nothing wrong with her car as well. But she told me there was a scratch on her bumper, but there was none. So I gave her my first name and my number and we left.

The next day his boyfriend called me and asked me about my Insurance registration number. He was telling me that there was a scratch on her bumber and it needs to be fixed. I told him there was none. Then he told me that he has not filed a police complaint and he told me that it might be necessary. So I told him to not to do anything and told him that I will take care of the "scratch on the bumper"

I think these people are trying to rip me off. Any help

I have a 2002 VW Jetta 1.8 T. I drove last night to the store...everything was fine! This mornig I try to start my car to go to work, it was making the "starting noise" but wouldn't start to save my life! It wasn't the battery. That's fairly new. My lights and radio came on just fine! What could it be!?
