I was involved in a car accident this afternoon which, I believe, was not my fault. There was something on the freeway that I did not notice until after my car ran over it. I lost control of my car and hit another. My insurance is trying to pin fault on me. How do I fight them?

I have an 85 S-10 Blazer SUV with V8 350 engine from 77 Caprice. The radiator is for Corvette, heater used restricted nipple to reduce the flow into heater core. I have been trying to eliminate the overheat problem by not using A/C, however, during the hot days, temp. around 90 F, the car will overheat. I decided to remove the A/C system all together including condensor to improve the radiator efficiency, mounts one push fan in front the radiator...any other ways to eliminate the overheat problem? The distance between flex fan turns with engine, is about 1.5 inches, thus, cannot use pull fans.

I have a 2005 Dodge 1500 2WD with 48K miles on it and have already had to turn the rotors once. The rotors on it are factory and were turned about 3000 miles ago. I have put about 25K miles on the truck over the past 1 1/2 that I've had the truck and the shaking started about 5000 miles ago. I understand that hard heavy breaking can cause them to scallop, but I have not had to do any heavy breaking nor have I ever even pulled anything with my truck.

Several times now I've seen drivers go right through an intersection when the walk sign was on, and they were all on cell phones. They seemed so oblivious! Have you experienced the same?

I have a 1995 VW Golf Mark 3, manual transmission, and the idle speed appears to be running very slow. When I let off the gas, with the clutch in, it runs at about 0-200 rpm (not 2000). Also, sometimes when it gets too low, it automatically revs itself bringing it up too high, then dies. This makes it die everytime I put the clutch in. Does anybody know what I can do to adjust the idle speed in my car? Thanks!

I have read that it should run at about 900 rpm. Is this a good number?

I have a 2002 Jeep Wranger with a manual transmission. The clutch action is not heavy, but it is a long throw and too high to rest your heel on the floorboard. I'm fairly young, but have noticed a recent twinge since driving the Jeep full time

Its a chevy 350 engine & I looked under my cap & it was all corroded & rusty. So i took the cap, rotor button, & all the electronic coil stuff out of a new olds dist. All the parts LOOKED the same but it wouldnt start after I put it back together. I also changed out the advance thing too becasue it was rusted stuck. I didnt remove the shaft of the distributor from the engine so the timing should have been the same since I putr the cap back in the exact same place. It just cranks now.

My car (04 Accord) was in a accident (not my fault, someone hit me in the back when I was stopping in the traffic light).. he accepted his fault completely & the insurance co. (21st insurance) declared total loss for my car.

They gave me a reasonable offer which I would be accepting it. They as asking me to sign the title & the power of attorney. Is it OK to send the signed title to the company.

I only have the letter from the insurance co. that they would give 13k$ for the car in exchange of the car title & the power of attorney.

Should I send the car title immediately or how should I proceed?

This question goes out to all the avaition guys and airplane people. You get diesel powered cars and trains and gas powered cars and planes. Has anyone ever thought of developing a airplane with a turbo-diesel powered prop engine ? Whats it gonna sound like and will it be just as powerfull as a turbo-diesel-intercooled powered car ? Couldit be a 4-cylinder, V6, V8 or even a V12 TDI airplane ? What would the fuel consumption be like ? Anyone in the avieation industry that could answer this question for me, please do so !

I have a V-Star Custom, 650.

Now I've read quite a few things about the fuel reserve, but none have had a definite answer on what I'm wondering. I recently had a flat tire on my motorcycle, and it had to be picked up from the shop. Well, when the guy picked it up to take it to the shop, to get it onto the trailer, he turned the petcock to the "Reserve" position, instead of the "On" position (I've not needed to refuel yet).

I was just wondering, since I've been riding it in the "On" position, and not the "Reserve" position, will the reserve fill itself back up, or does it only refill when I've refueled?

Thanks! :)

The Blazer has a new fuel pump, filters, plugs, wires, distributor, coil, ignition module, the whole ball of wax. Once I do get it started it will start all day with no problem until sitting all night. Then it is hard to start again. I have 65 lbs of fuel pressure so it can't be that. I brought it to GM and he put it on the computer and nothing came up. He said let's start replacing parts and see what we come up with. At the money it would cost to find the problem no way.
