Why is it that after years of goverment campaining they haven't made it illegal. Why is it there's still a legal limit and people are still getting killed, injured, etc
They've banned smoking in public places pubs, clubs etc and even as far as banning it on things like NHS grounds or Council car parks (in the open air)etc which is fine, why should someone who dosen't smoke have to breath in someone elses smoke.
If they can go this far then why is alchohol not totally banned behind the wheel.
Why is it I can drive my car out on the road and potentially get hit by somebody who has been drinking, thinking they are OK to drive, surely it should be zero tolerance, and anyone with alcohol or drugs for that matter in their system should be banned and have thier vehicle impounded and sold or crushed.

Acutally, you might want to say it vibrates really hard. I have a 1998 Hyundai Elantra. Can anyone offer any suggestions? When I am doing anything under 60, I am fine, but as soon as I hit 65, my steering wheel begins to shake a bit. What could it be?

I notice that cars often brake suddenly on clear roads because they detect a speed camera or those white line things, which surprises the driver in the car behind who then brakes and swerves, sometimes causing an accident

Each time when I'm turning round the corner I brake with the clutch down. It's becoming quite natural to do so. People have very different opinions on that. Some think it's fine - some think, that I'll need new clutch by Christmas.... Help!

I drive a 1995 Acura Integra LS. I wanted a GS-R, but i ended up with a LS instead...well got it free from my dad. My car does not have enough power for me...which will probably always be the case. But need more power then what it has. So i have a few choices. first choice, sell the car and buy a GS-R. Or just do a engine swap. or just modify the LS. A friend of mine told me to change the LS head for a honda's STi...i'm not sure, i have only recently came interested in cars, and no one to teach me these things. So what should i do, how much will it cost me. i'm not rich, i'm as rich as a normal college student...but do have some money from saving from high school...so what shoudl i do??

I own a used 2003 Honda Civic lx... with about 66,000 miles. I can get 11.5 gallons of gas in my car and was getting 350 on a full tank which. ='s 30 mpg city/hwy average. I went to jiffy lube and got the fuel system cleaned ( for what I'm sure was the first time ever). How many more miles per gallon more will i get based on of course if all other factors stay constant (i.e. same rout to work, same speed average.. etc.. etc.. etc...) I'm just looking for a best educated guess? I think btwn 34 mpg and 38 mpg. I'm shooting for 400 - 450 miles on a full tank of gas. Anyone who answers my question will get a follow up answer from me so that if it ever come's up again we'll all know how to advise questioner's.

Are tennis shoes a "No-no" when riding on the back of a Harley? Would you suggest black boots, black shoes, or does it matter?

Okay, so I've heard that in order to get the best gas mileage on my car, I should keep my tires "properly inflated", which for me, is 32 psi on the front and 29 psi on the back (or maybe reversed - I forgot lol). My dad says not to pump them up to that much, but he won't really say why.

So are there any reasons why it would be good to not keep them properly inflated? Is there any truth behind what my dad is saying, or is that just a common myth that hasn't publicly been really debunked? :/

Odd question, I know, but as far as formal ship etiquette goes, is it proper for the captain to disembark first, and the crew follow as a sign of respect? Or does the captain disembark last because he/she is expected to stay with the ship the longest?
