Anyone know car sharing schemes in Thanet?

I've got a 1994 Buick Century Custom, 3.1L, V-6. I've replaced the radiator, thermostat and waterpump, but still it overheats. What should I try next? Both my push and pull fans work up front, but still the car overheats. What cooling item did I leave out, or at the very least investigate. Maybe a sensor, relay, or even a switch? A this point I'm baffled and will try anything...HELP! What do you suggest I try next?

I've been told that it reduces the wear on the AC if it is turned off prior to turning off the engine....Is this a myth or a fact?

Hi everyone, my car does this weird thing where it seems like it loses the ability to change gears (auto transmission) and I don't know what the problem is. I've taken it to the mechanics and as it only does this sometimes not all the time they cannot rule out for sure what it is. I am driving along then all of a sudden it is like it won't change gears and it is not a problem with the transmission itself. Can you please offer any advice on what it may be and how to fix it please? Sometimes it seems to happen when I've filled up the car, but I can't say for sure... What could this be and how can I fix this? It is a Mitsubishi Magna. Any advice is appreicated :-) Thanks

ok my bike had just come out getting checked by pro's then i had been riding around hitting a few jumps doing doughnuts and roosts all that crazy stuff then i came off a berm and changed gears chain came off (changed gears way too fast WOOPS!) .and then i took it my dad he fixed the chain but after that it wouldnt start after like a million kicks we checked the spark plug and all that but still nothing! any ideas?! Do you think it could of seized up?!??!?!?!?!?!

I don't know how, but the owner syas it was only a fender-bender accident but some how its salvaged. He's obviously hiding something.

What ever. He says the car runs perfectly, no problems, blah blah....

He says its not registered. I live in NJ, what would I need to do to REGISTER it and then also be able to use it legally?

To begin with, I'm 17 and have had my license for half a year. I have ridden dirt bikes since I was 5, enduros since I was 13, and a 2002 Suzuki Intruder 800 for the entire 6 months, as well as a 2007 Ninja 650r for a week, amassing almost 400 miles on it. I was also the passenger on a gsx-r 750 for more than two years. Giving my experience, or lack thereof, I was wondering which motorcycle I should get; a Honda Cbr 600rr or a Kawasaki Zx-6r? The Ninja 650r felt rather slow, and within the week I outgrew it(thankfully it wasnt mine). Can anyone help me? I will use the bike mostly for day to day city driving, but my father and uncle both own Gsx-r's (a 2003 750 and a 2007 1000 respectively), and occasionally we go riding, if you know what I mean. Which bike would be better suited to my needs?

So i started to strip the inside of my 280 and its so much rust that i got fustrated to i decided to take care of the rust bubbles on the outside.... i got a iron brush bit to take it down to the metal just to find there is 7 yes 7 paint layers.... i dont use this car so i was thinking on taking all the pain out the car looks bad but everyone tells me its got great potential, i see it so correct me if im wront by doing this while taking all the paint out i will also fix the cracks and the rust.... i dont know what im doing im not even gonna pretend i do, i do need to keep this project as low as posible. im stuck i need your help guys

I want to buy a BMW that is expected to arrive at the dealer's store by the end of the month. I will also have to put down a 20-50% deposit for the car probably. However, I do not want to go around chasing the car dealer if the car is delayed or if it differs from the specifiaction list (e.g. options, extras...) Should I draft up some kind of an agreement and have the dealer sign it e.g. somethng with penalty clauses...I am no lawyer but maybe I can do a good job of it?

By the way, I thought BMW is also manufactured in the USA, no?

im fom Mass

today i was driving on the highway in the far left lane going 65-70 (limit is 65)

i was in the far left lane for five minutes

then i get pulled over

i didnt get a ticket but the first thing he says to me is are you ok? in a nice tone then he asks about the car behind me flagging me down and tells me to drive in the right lane and to stay the speed limit

i wasnt out of control at all going 65 to 70 on the far left lane

so what did i do wrong?

Suppose 2 cars are doing 70 in a 55, one following the other 100 feet apart. Which one gets pulled over, the leader or the follower? I often find myself tailing another car on the highway going faster than I usually would thinking that if we were to drive by a speed trap, the guy in front of me would get pulled over. Who gets pulled over. I am thinking once the radar gun zaps the first guy it won't be able to reset in enough time to zap the one trailing it so the cop has to chase down the first car or if the radar gun can zap both does the officer catch the whatever vehicle is closer as he jumps out into the highway to pursue

I have a 1998 dodge stratus and we just replaced the brake pads a month or 2 ago, but the brake light comes on (and used to turn off when id hit the brakes but now stays on all the time) when i start the car which makes me think it may need brake fluid, but i cant figure out where the brake fluid goes, please help
